  • Patent number: 11920609
Abstract: An axial fan rotates around a rotating shaft. The axial fan includes a hub, and a plurality of blades extending in a radial direction from the hub. Each blade includes a leading edge, a trailing edge including a depression, and a reinforcing protrusion located at least forwardmost and having a wall thickness thicker than a surrounding portion. As viewed along a rotating shaft direction, when a first virtual line and a second virtual line perpendicular to the radial direction are drawn, the reinforcing protrusion extends radially inside of the first virtual line and extends radially outside of the second virtual line, the first virtual line and the second virtual line respectively pass through a rearmost first endpoint in the rotation direction on a radially inside of a rear end that substantially overlaps the depression, and a rearmost second endpoint on a radially outside of the rear end.

  • Publication number: 20230366582
Abstract: A disadvantage such as loss of life to a bearing of an indoor fan motor may occur when the number of rotations of the indoor fan falls below a predetermined number of rotations. An indoor unit includes a fan, a casing, a first horizontal flap, a second horizontal flap, and an indoor controller. The casing accommodates the fan, and has a blow-out port through which air provided by the fan is blown out. The indoor controller performs opening and closing operations to bring the first and second horizontal flaps into a first state in decreasing an airflow volume to be blown out through the blow-out port. In the first state, the first horizontal flap is in a position to open a first portion of the blow-out port while the second horizontal flap is in or substantially in a position to close a second portion of the blow-out port.

  • Patent number: 8884191
Abstract: When a seat heater and a planar electric heater on a surface of an interior member are used in parallel, the seat heater and the planar electric heater cannot be heated sufficiently due to a limitation on an electric capacity of a vehicle, and in particular, in a vehicle having good engine efficiency, heating of an interior of a passenger compartment by air conditioning utilizing hot air generated by heat expelled from an engine is not sufficient, whereby there sometimes occurs a situation where occupants feel cold. A heating device 2 is provided in a side door panel 1 of a vehicle and a seat heater is made to be heated mainly at an initial stage of heating after an occupant gets in the vehicle, whereas the heating device 2 is made to be heated after a predetermined period of time elapses, whereby the body of the occupant can be warmed quickly and efficiently without making the occupant feel cold physically.

  • Patent number: 8439437
Abstract: A seat with a heating device is provided which realizes a configuration in which the arm, palms and finger tips of a user can easily be warmed when the user uses the seat with the heating device. When the user is seated in a seat with a heating device and feels cold due to it being winter, the user controls a switch to heat the seat, whereby energization of heating elements 3a, 3b, 3c is started which are connected to a power supply via electric wires. When the energization of the heating elements 3a, 3b, 3c is started, heat generated thereby is conducted to skin materials 2a, 2b, 2c and surfaces of the skin materials are warmed. When the user places his or her arm on an armrest portion 5, the arm is warmed via the skin material 2c, whereby the user can feel the sensation of comfortableness.

  • Patent number: 7726006
Abstract: In manufacturing of the stator unit 2 according to one preferred embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of terminal pins are arranged in an axially spaced manner from a plurality of the coils during a twining process of the wires from the coils 232 to the terminal pins 241. Then, after the wire is twined to the terminal pins, the terminal pins connected to the coils are moved along the outer side face of the sleeve housing, functioning to as a guide portion 2201 for the terminal pins. By virtue of the configuration, the terminal pins 241 may be approximated to the coils without applying the tension on wire, and the stator unit may be made thin with preventing the open circuit of the wires.
