  • Patent number: 7672844
Abstract: A voice processing apparatus for performing voiceprint recognition processing with high accuracy even in the case where a plurality of conference participants speak at a time in a conference; wherein a bi-directional telephonic communication portion receives as an input respective voice signals from a plurality of microphones, selects one microphone based on the input voice signals, and outputs a voice signal from the microphone; a voiceprint recognition portion 322 performs voiceprint recognition based on the input voice signal in voiceprint recognizable period, and stores voiceprint data successively in a buffer; and a CPU takes out voiceprint data successively from the buffer, checking against voiceprint data stored in a voiceprint register, specifies a speaker, and processes the voice signal output from the bi-directional telephonic communication portion by associating the same with the speaker.

  • Patent number: 7486254
Abstract: An information creating method comprising the steps of: recording moving picture/audio information obtained from a moving picture/audio input apparatus; recording pieces of still picture information displayed on a plurality of displays connected to a network; and, when pieces of said still picture information are recorded, creating a reproduction management list of said pieces of still picture information that correspond to said moving picture/audio information. It is possible to chronologically grasp from the reproduction management list when and in which file name the information has been displayed on each of the displays and, when contents represented in an HTML format etc. are reproduced, it is possible to easily select a display pattern in which pieces of information are to be reproduced on the same screen, thus displaying pieces of still picture information one and all on a split screen as inserted therein.

  • Patent number: 7346513
Abstract: A method that allows two or more APs (application programs) to use a sound card and an AP to select an input device of the sound card regardless of a mixer device of the sound card is disclosed. A connecting module 31 is disposed among a sound card 17, a HDD 13, and an NIC 19. Switches 32 and 33 are disposed in parallel to the connecting module 31. In other words, an audio signal that is input form the sound card 17 is supplied to the NIC 19 through the switch 32. In addition, the audio signal is supplied to the HDD 13 through the switch 33. The switch 32 is equivalent to a concept of an application interface for starting and stopping a sending operation for an audio signal supplied from the sound card 17 to the network 111. The switch 33 is equivalent to a concept of an application interface for starting and stopping a saving operation for an audio signal supplied from the sound card 17 to the HDD 13.

  • Patent number: 7227566
Abstract: Provision of a communication apparatus and a TV conference apparatus able to take a picture of a speaker automatically and correctly. A sound analyzer selects a speaker correctly. A voiceprint authentication portion authenticates whether or not a voiceprint of the speaker is registered. When the selection of the speaker and the voiceprint authentication coincide an imaging direction adjusting portion drives a TV camera on the basis of the previously registered condition.

  • Patent number: 7016935
Abstract: Various electronic equipments used in a network conferencing system are integrally managed and presentation is made in a simple manner. When each attendant electronic equipment becomes a chairman terminal having an equipment management function, it inquires the availability of an electronic equipment used for a conference, then obtains information related to an available equipment from a client control section of a conference management server, and determines whether the electronic equipment used for the conference is an output electronic equipment such as a projector or a generating electronic equipment such as a scanner. Thus, an icon display of the generating electronic equipment and an icon display of the output electronic equipment are provided while separating an area for the icon display of the generating electronic equipment and an area for the icon display of the output electronic equipment, by the display function of each attendant electronic equipment.

  • Publication number: 20050044167
Abstract: The present invention relates to a network information processing system comprising a plurality of information processors having an input operation function, information provision management means for providing electronic information including display information, and communication means for connecting them to each other, wherein the information provision management means is remote-controlled exclusively or cooperatively utilizing the input operation functions of the information processors. Further, the present invention features that a participation right is remotely set for each network information processing system utilizing the input operation functions of the information processors. By such a configuration, a network electronic conference system etc. can be built up easily and many concerned parties can easily attend an electronic conference without exchanging an attachment of a notebook personal computer to a projector etc.
