  • Patent number: 7085474
Abstract: An information detecting apparatus which can surely detect specific information such as a digital watermark in high-speed data stream and can be configured at low cost. The apparatus extracts data including specific information from a high-speed data stream, and detects the specific information in the extracted data at low speed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 4, 2001
Date of Patent: August 1, 2006
    Assignee: Pioneer Corporation
Inventors: Kazumi Sugaya, Hiroshi Iwamura, Hidejiro Higashi, Keiji Katata
  • Patent number: 6804452
Abstract: An apparatus for generating a recording signal by converting an image signal and outputting the generated recording signal to an external device is provided. The image signal included image data corresponding to an image to be displayed on a display. The image data includes a plurality of data pieces each corresponding to a different one of a plurality of image elements which compose the image. The apparatus includes: a control information placing device for placing a control information piece onto one of the plurality of data pieces corresponding to one of the plurality of image elements that is to be located at an outer edge portion of the image when the image is displayed on the display screen; and a generating device for generating the recording signal including the control information piece. The control information piece includes information to control an operation of the external device.

  • Patent number: 4761693
Abstract: A magnetic recording and reproducing method and device using a rotary head with two reproducing heads and two corresponding recording heads whereby slanted tracks are formed on the tape, each consisting of several sequential recording tracks. The reproducing heads are arranged to precede the corresponding recording heads by at least three fields (slanted track) so that a new audio signal can be input at the same time as the output of the audio signal from a given recording track and then recorded in that given track.

  • Patent number: 4442323
Abstract: A microphone unit particularly adapted to be used as a built-in microphone for a device such as a tape recorder in which vibration-induced components in the output of the microphone are substantially eliminated. An electret-type microphone element is mounted in a cylindrical-shaped microphone case having a central wall. A ceramic piezoelectric element is secured against the wall with a weight pressing against the opposite side of the piezoelectric element. The outputs of the microphone element and the piezoelectric vibration pickup unit are combined in a circuit in which the characteristics of the output of the piezoelectric element are corrected so that substantially all of the vibration-induced component from the microphone element is cancelled.
