Patent number: 11874860Abstract: The present invention may be a system for creating indexes for information retrieval comprises a processor and a memory. The memory has program instructions embodied therewith. The program instructions are executable by the processor to cause the system to read a document having hinting information into a memory, where the hinting information is associated with each unique expression in an original document. The program instructions are further executable to create the indexes from the document, where a first analysis method for generating a contiguous sequence of items from a text in the document is used for creating the indexes for each sequence in the unique expression with which the hinting information is associated and a second analysis method for dividing the text into meaningful units is used for creating the indexes for each word in the text other than the unique expression.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 2019Date of Patent: January 16, 2024Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Hidekazu Fujiwara, Yoko Nameki, Soh Ohta

Patent number: 10606815Abstract: The present invention may be a method, system, and a computer program product. An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for creating one or more indexes for information retrieval. The method comprises reading a document having hinting information into memory; the hinting information being associated with each unique expression in an original document; and creating the indexes from the document which was read into memory. A first analysis method for generating a contiguous sequence of items from text in the document is used for creating the indexes for each sequence in the unique expression with which the hinting information is associated. A second analysis method for dividing the text into meaningful units is used for creating the indexes for each word in the text other than the unique expression. The first analysis method may be an n-gram analysis and the second analysis method may be a morphological analysis.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2016Date of Patent: March 31, 2020Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Hidekazu Fujiwara, Yoko Nameki, Soh Ohta

Patent number: 5137748Abstract: An adhesive electrostatic coating is applied on a resin molding without substantially affecting the color and the physical properties by the method which comprises the steps of mixing with a resin a complex of a polyether and an electrolyte salt soluble in the polyether, molding the mixture, treating the resultant molding with plasma and then spray-coating an electrically charged paint on the surface of the treated molding. The polyether is selected from the group consisting of alkylene oxide polymers and copolymers, preferably selected from the group consisting of polymers of alkylene oxide having not less that 4 carbon atoms and block or random alkylene oxide copolymers containing not less than 10 weight % of at least one alkylene oxide unit having not less than 4 carbon atoms.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 1990Date of Patent: August 11, 1992Assignees: Dai-Ichi Kogyo Keiyaku Co., Kanto Jidosha Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Hidekazu Fujiwara, Kenji Motogami, Shigeo Mori
