  • Patent number: 10677430
Abstract: A driving device of an embodiment includes a first rotational unit and a holding unit. The first rotational unit is disposed with an object to be operated on one surface side intersecting with a first rotating shaft, and rotationally moves around the first rotating shaft with the object to be operated. The holding unit is disposed on another surface side of the first rotational unit, rotates with the first rotational unit, and holds a cable for supplying power to the object to be operated at a position away from the first rotational unit toward the other surface side, while placing the cable along the first rotating shaft.

  • Patent number: 10197138
Abstract: A drive apparatus according to an embodiment includes a first rotation unit, a base, a lead screw unit, and a second rotation unit. The first rotation unit includes a gear rotatable in first directions by a drive power source. The base is joined to the gear and is rotatable in the first directions with the gear. The lead screw unit is provided to the base and moves a shaft back and forth in a certain direction. The second rotation unit is pivotally supported by the base, rotates in second directions different from the first directions, and supports a certain supported member rotatably in the second directions.

  • Patent number: 7533392
Abstract: In the course of the loading of a disc in a slot-in type of disc apparatus, if a user intends to forcefully pull out the disc, there is a possibility that it is wrongly recognized that the disc has been normally loaded, and then a clamping head of a spindle motor collides against a surface of the disc to damage it. In order to solve this problem, during the loading operation of the disc, a safety mechanism for allowing a clamping operation in response to what the disc has reached a normally clamped position. The safety mechanism may be a mechanical stopper or an electrical detector.
