Abstract: A burner including a burner main body having a mixing pipe to which a fuel gas and combustion air are supplied and a mixing chamber provided at a top end on the downstream side of the mixing pipe, and a burner head, which is provided at an upper part of the burner main body. The burner head communicates with the mixing chamber and ejects the mixed gas of the fuel gas and air mixed in the mixing chamber. The burner head has a cylindrical shape and is provided right above the mixing chamber of the burner main body. The burner head has several first and second burner ports bored around almost an entire periphery of a side face thereof. • Patent number: 6758209
Abstract: A liquid heating cooker comprises a container having an access portion that is covered by a removable cover. A vat containing a heating medium is positioned within the container, and a combustion burner, provided to heat the medium, is positioned within the container such that a combustion surface of the burner opposes an outer wall surface of the vat. Guide means are also provided for sliding the burner in and out of the container via the access portion, such that the burner is removable and attachable with respect to the container. A combustion chamber is defined by the combustion surface of the burner and the opposing outer wall surface of the vat, and a portion of the burner defines a partitioning wall partitioning the combustion chamber into left and right chambers with respect to the sliding direction of the burner.

  • Publication number: 20030127088
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to reduce the maintenance costs of burners. When repairing a burner 20, first, a door 2a provided on a front surface of a main housing 2 is opened. Next, a lower coupler 77b of a supply portion 70 is loosened and the screws of a flange portion 74b of a mixture supply duct 74 are removed, and the mixture supply portion 74, which has become a single unit with a connection duct 77, is removed from a gas duct 76, a tube 73 that is provided at the front end of an air duct 72, a front panel 83, and a burner unit 23. Then, all nuts on the front of the container 80 are removed and the front panel 83 is removed from the container 80. Next, the brim portions 20a of the burner 20 are slid over lower rails 90b and the burner is pulled out obliquely upward (on a substantially horizontal plane) from the access portion 85 on the front of the container 80, so that repairs to the burner 20, such as replacing its ceramic plate 22, can be carried out.

  • Patent number: 6540504
Abstract: A main burner 22, a pilot burner 25, and a lead-in pipe 29 supplying combustion exhaust to the pilot burner 25 are arranged in a combustion chamber R2. A flame arrester 27 with small holes 27a is provided at a bottom plate 13. Furthermore, a primary thermocouple 26 detecting the flame state of the pilot burner 25 and a secondary thermocouple 28 detecting the temperature in the combustion chamber R2 are connected in series but with opposite polarities. When the flame arrester 27 clogs up with fine particles, the pilot burner 25, which sucks in combustion exhaust, performs abnormal combustion before the main burner 22, which is detected by the primary thermocouple 26 and the secondary thermocouple 28, whereupon the combustion with the main burner 22 is stopped. Thus, incomplete combustion due to blocking of the air supply path can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 5038747
Abstract: A gas range having at least one stove top surface burner and an interior cooking chamber with a cooking burner includes a chimney extending above the cooking chamber to an exhaust opening at the rear of the top surface. A porous catalyzer plate fits into the exhaust opening and an afterburner is located in the chimney adjacent to the exhaust opening to partially burn and heat exhaust gases. The hot gases then activate the catalyzer to an optimum temperature for effecting their decomposition.
