  • Publication number: 20040218437
Abstract: A semiconductor device has a memory cell array having the arrangement of a plurality of cores, each of which comprises one block or a set of a plurality of blocks, each block defining a range of memory cells serving as a unit of data erase. The semiconductor device has a bank setting memory circuit configured to select an optional number of cores of the cores as a first bank and to set the remaining cores as a second bank, so as to allow a data read operation to be carried out in one of the first and second banks while a data write or erase operation is carried out in the other of the first and second banks.

  • Patent number: 6811104
Abstract: A fuel injection valve has: a tubular body, a valve seat member, a valve body, a core tube, a bias spring, and an electromagnetic actuator. The core tube is press fitted into the tubular body. The core tube has a first end side opposing an absorption section of the valve body in such a manner as to form an axial gap interposed between the first end side of the core tube and the absorption section. The core tube has a second end side axially extending in the tubular body to a certain position on a way to the second end side of the tubular body. The axially extending second end side of the core tube has an outer periphery which is formed with a reduced diameter section for increasing an accuracy in positioning the core tube when the core tube is press fitted into the tubular body.

  • Patent number: 6805309
Abstract: A fuel injector including a tubular casing having an axial fuel passage. Disposed within the fuel passage are a valve seat element, a core cylinder, and a valve element axially moveably disposed therebetween and opposed to the core cylinder with an axial air gap. An electromagnetic actuator cooperates with the casing, the valve element and the core cylinder to form a magnetic field forcing the valve element to the open position against a spring between the valve element and the core cylinder upon being energized. The casing includes a reluctance portion producing an increased magnetic reluctance and allowing the magnetic field to extend to the valve element and the core cylinder through the air gap. The reluctance portion has a reduced radial thickness and an axial length extending over the air gap.

  • Patent number: 6807363
Abstract: The present invention relates to an image reproducing device, and an image recording/reproducing device, which reproduce encoded image data. With these devices, special reproduction such as reproduction at an arbitrary speed-multiple, etc., and special recording/reproduction can be made with ease. A packet information generating unit (23) generates packet information composed of PTS (Presentation Time Stamp) included in a packet header of an MPEG stream, and a file address of the packet header. A controlling unit obtains a reproduction point of an MPEG stream based on the packet information referenced by a packet information referencing unit (25), reads the corresponding MPEG stream from the information storing unit (24), and outputs the read stream to a decoding unit (26). The decoding unit (26) decodes and outputs the MPEG stream.

  • Publication number: 20040174747
Abstract: The time required for the program verify and erase verify operations can be shortened. The change of threshold values of memory cells can be suppressed even if the write and erase operations are executed repetitively. After the program and erase operations, whether the operations were properly executed can be judged simultaneously for all bit lines basing upon a change, after the pre-charge, of the potential at each bit line, without changing the column address. In the data rewrite oepration, the rewrite operation is not effected for a memory cell with the data once properly written, by changing the data in the data register.
