Abstract: An information life cycle management system and an information organizing method using the computer system stores information objects composed of a database and program, and a data processing device for processing an information object which is a block of the information in the storage device. Processing and execution of an information object is managed based on information life cycle states, starting with generation of the information object and ending with aborting the information object. An information accessor manager governs the available operation type and area of use of manager information based on the information life cycle state. As information object definition language defines attributes of the information structure and information life cycle state and the managed information object. The information objection is managed in accordance with contents defined by the language.

Abstract: A data processing system capable of searching for desired data requested by a computer from a memory unit. To obviate a disadvantage that the computer has read data partially including desired data from the memory unit and selected the desired data from the read data, the data processing system is provided with a data processing unit connected to a control unit for controlling a memory unit. Desired data is selected by this data processing unit.

Abstract: With respect to input/output requests; a microprogram controls collection of data according to the data format; data accessing divides the requests for every recording medium and performs asynchronous processing; an on-line process is carried out in view of the processing priority order of the requests; parallel accessing sets requests for each medium; buffer control assures a block buffer and a page address list before receiving requests; data accessing sets a list of CCHHR codes in response to a continuous characteristic of the stored state in the recording medium; and mode deciding judges the two data transfer modes, a page search mode and a data search mode, in response to the requests.

Abstract: The piston boot is first set at the middle portion of a cylinder jig having a small diameter upper step portion and a large diameter lower step portion with the middle portion position therebetween and having radial air blow off vents. The upper step portion is then inserted into an inner circumferential face of a piston while simultaneously advancing the lower step portion toward an end face of the piston from which the inner circumferential face extends and blowing air from the blow off vents, as a result of which the piston boot is radially expanded and fitted on an outer circumference of the piston adjacent the end face. A cup form jig slidably fitted around the lower step portion is then advanced toward the piston boot and further advances the piston boot until the piston boot is fitted into a piston boot fitting portion of the piston.
