  • Patent number: 9720046
Abstract: A battery state estimating device being one aspect of the present invention detects a current and a terminal voltage of a secondary battery, estimates a terminal voltage of the secondary battery which is based on a predetermined battery model by using measured values I(k) and V(k) respectively of the detected current and the detected terminal voltage, and sequentially identifies a parameter ?^(k) of the battery model in such a way that the difference between a value based on the measured value of the terminal voltage and an estimate value of the terminal voltage converges to zero. Then, when a certain parameter ?n in the identified parameter is equal to or larger than a predetermined first threshold ?1, the battery state estimating device performs upper limit processing of setting the value of the certain parameter ?n to the first threshold ?1.

  • Publication number: 20170017865
Abstract: A script language compatible with HTML is used to define methods or objects capable of communicating directly with an intelligent module for printing operations without going through a web browser's print selection option. A print API library provides the needed methods/objects for creating an HTML print document, and converting it to raster image data using a user-selected conversion method. The intelligent module may function to provide a communication bridge for conveying communication between a web page on a user terminal and a target printer. The print API knows the IP address of the intelligent module, and sends a created print document directly to the intelligent module by means of the known IP address. The API may be part of an application that provides tools for visually creating or editing an HTML document without the user knowing how to program in HTML.

  • Publication number: 20160342371
Abstract: Using a web browser, a client terminal accesses a web application server on which a web application operates and controls an image input device. A displayed web page from the server has an embedded image input control script that operates on the web browser and controls image input. Under the control of the image input control script, an image acquisition request is sent to the image input device when a specific operation is performed on the displayed web page, and, as a response, an image is acquired from the image input device. Under control of the image input control script, a selection window is displayed for selecting whether or not to stop operation of the image input device when an event changing the web page occurs while such device is operating, and a stop operation request is sent to the image input device when stopping its operation is selected.
