  • Publication number: 20060237139
Abstract: A VUV-ray adhering apparatus for applying material of alkoxide to adhering faces of adhered substances and irradiating VUV-ray to the adhering faces to adhere is provided, the apparatus including: a VUV-ray light source portion having a light source for generating the VUV-ray, an irradiating chamber for irradiating the VUV-ray to two of the adhered substances which are transparent for the VUV-ray, and an exhausting apparatus for exhausting atmosphere in the VUV-ray light source portion and the irradiating chamber forcibly to outside. Further, the VUV-ray light source portion and the irradiating chamber are vacuumed or the VUV-ray light source portion and the irradiating chamber are filled with nitrogen gas or rare gas. Further, a partition window of a substance transparent for the VUV-ray is provided between the VUV-ray light source portion and the irradiating chamber.

  • Publication number: 20050106396
Abstract: As an adhering method capable of simply and easily adhering materials transparent to short-wavelength ultraviolet light, particularly quartz glass plates, with each other at room temperature and ensuring transmission of light to a short-wavelength limit inherent in quartz glass or the like, an alkoxide is used as the adhesive material and by irradiating ultraviolet light on the adhering portion, two materials are adhered. By adhering quartz glass plates in the lateral direction, a larger-area quartz glass plate can be produced. The larger-area quartz glass plate can be used as a window for separating the light source part and the cleaning chamber of a photo-cleaning apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5064252
Abstract: A brake fluid pressure controller is interposed between a master cylinder and the rear wheel cylinders. The controller comprises a housing having an inlet, an outlet and a chamber which provides communication between the inlet and the outlet. An annular sealing member is disposed around a piston in the chamber with a clearance left therebetween. The sealing member has an inner perimeter defining a valve seat and an outer perimeter defining a flexible lip portion which is in contact with the internal wall of the chamber. When a valve head of the piston sits on the valve seat of the sealing member, the inner perimeter of the valve seat cuts off the communication between the inlet and the outlet. Meanwhile, the outer perimeter permits a communication from the outlet to the inlet but shuts off a communication from the inlet to the outlet. A spring urges the piston to a direction in which the valve head separates from the valve seat.

  • Patent number: 4783776
Abstract: A digital information recording and reproducing method for significantly improving the transfer rate of digital information, comprises the steps of: forming a plurality of light beam guide tracks on a recording medium capable of multiple light-wavelength recording, the tracks being spaced apart by a predetermined pitch and each of the tracks comprising a series of pre-pits disposed in a scan direction and spaced apart by an interval longer than the diameter of a spot of a light beam for use in recording and reproducing; and recording and reproducing an information bit by changing the light beam to have a different wavelength predetermined n times in a predetermined order while the light beam is scanned by one interval of the pre-pits.

  • Patent number: 4752117
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for driving an objective lens of an optical disk apparatus in both the tracking direction and the focusing direction. The device comprises a rocker arm supported rotatably and axially slidably by a supporting shaft and carrying the objective lens on its front end, a pair of first coils disposed on both sides respectively of an end on rear end of the rocker arm remote from the front end carrying the objective lens for driving the objective lens in the tracking direction, and a second coil mounted to the lower surface of the rocker arm for driving the objective lens in the focusing direction. A pair of magnets for producing a magnetic field for driving the objective lens in the focusing direction and a magnetic field for driving the objective lens in the tracking direction are mounted to a pair of yokes erected on both sides of the supporting shaft respectively.
