  • Patent number: 7220307
Abstract: A treated pigment and a dispersion composition thereof having preferable dispersion stability and fluidity in a dispersion medium even the pigment has no functional group reactive with a carbodiimide group on the surface thereof, and further to provide a resist composition exerting very excellent developing characteristics when forming color filters, black matrices and the like patterns. Furthermore, the invention also provides a compound for pigment treatment suited for the treatment of such pigment. A treated pigment which is producible by the treatment with a carbodiimide-based compound having at least one side chain selected from the group consisting of polyester side chains, polyether side chains and polyacrylic side chains and at least one basic nitrogen-containing group within the molecule.

  • Patent number: 4900385
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an improved method for forming a double wall container by laminating a thermoplastic resin sheet for a container main body and a breathable thermoplastic resin sheet or film for an inner body with a low-melting adhesive, heating the laminate sheet at a forming temperature, and forming the heated laminate sheet by using a male and female molds arranged with a certain space, characterized in that the container main body and the breathable inner body are separated with a prescribed distance from each other by vacuum suction through the female mold or by air pressure through the male mold. On account of the double wall structure, the container prevents the content from becoming sticky and deteriorated and keeps the content fresh.

  • Patent number: 4456704
Abstract: A method for producing cross-linked polyethylene resin foams which comprises mixing a polyolefin resin, a blowing agent and, optionally, a surface active agent containing hydroxyl groups or an acid amide compound under pressure, said polyolefin resin containing a cross-linkable ethylene polymer having on the side chains thereof silyl groups which effect cross-linking upon contact with water; extruding the mixture into a low pressure zone where the extrudate is allowed to expand; and bringing the expanded extrudate into contact with a silanol condensing catalyst so that the expanded extrudate is cross-linked on contact with water.
