  • Patent number: 10533757
Abstract: A fan includes a fan member, a motor that drives to rotate the fan member, and a rotating shaft that is connected to the fan via a vibration prevention member and transmits a turning force of the motor to the fan. The vibration prevention member is an elastic member that connects an inner cylinder made of metal included in the rotating shaft and an outer cylinder made of metal included in the fan member. At least one of an outer circumferential section of the inner cylinder and an inner circumferential section of the outer cylinder is configured in a polygonal shape when viewed from the rotating shaft direction. A turning force received by the vibration prevention member acts as compression stress on an adhesion interface between a vibration prevention material and metal.

  • Publication number: 20170299201
Abstract: The indoor unit of the air conditioner includes a centrifugal blower configured to discharge air sucked from an indoor-unit suction port to the periphery, a heat exchanger provided on a discharge side of the centrifugal blower, a blowout port provided on a downstream side of the heat exchanger, and a drain pan provided under the heat exchanger and configured to receive moisture condensation water. The lower end of a discharge port of the centrifugal blower is provided in a position higher than an upper end of a wall surface section of the drain pan located on the upstream side with respect to the heat exchanger. The upper end of the wall surface section located on the upstream side with respect to the heat exchanger is formed lower than an upper end of a wall surface section located on the downstream side with respect to the heat exchanger.

  • Publication number: 20160252259
Abstract: An indoor unit of an air conditioner of the present invention includes a cabinet; an air inlet through which air is sucked into the cabinet; a centrifugal fan which blows the air sucked in to the surrounding portions; and an a heat exchanger which is provided in the direction of air supply of the centrifugal fan and allows heat exchange between the air and a refrigerant flowing thereinside, in which the following equation is satisfied: 0.16?L/D?0.19, where D is an outer diameter of the centrifugal fan and L is a distance between the centrifugal fan and the heat exchanger in their closest positions. Thus, a variation in a velocity distribution created in the heat exchanger can be suppressed, and the indoor unit of the air conditioner which achieves an improved energy saving property due to a reduced pressure loss and an improved heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger can be provided.
