  • Publication number: 20050182650
Abstract: To achieve a maintenance or inspection system in accordance with an asset scale. Specifically, the combination of four management software modules is properly changed to easily configure a maintenance or inspection system in accordance with an asset scale. An asset maintenance or inspection system comprising a first computer and a second computer capable of mutual information exchange with the first computer, wherein the first and second computer are configured by a proper combination of four management modules, a process management module, a procedure management module, a visual information management module, and a form management module, and the combination can be changed to easily configure a maintenance or inspection system in accordance with an asset scale.

  • Patent number: 5261337
Abstract: The present invention aims for the object thereof at preventing unburnt gas and noxious gas components from being generated in a refuse incinerator, and provides a combustion control method by which it is arranged so that a feeder (2) and a stoker (3) are not only controlled so as to keep evaporation (S1) of the boiler at a target value thereby to achieve stabilized combustion extending over a long period of time, but also feed water quantity (S2) and the like from a boiler water pipe section (2) forming a combustion chamber (6) are detected, and the rate of overfire air quantity to main combustion air quantity to a lower part of the stoker is controlled at a constant total gas capacity so that the fluctuation width of the feed water quantity (S2) falls within a set range.

  • Patent number: 5207390
Abstract: A control system for a refuse shredder composed of a refuse feeding section and a refuse shredding section detects a stagnating state of refuse to adjust the feed rate, detects idling of the feeding section and restores it to a proper state, detects a tendency of tripping of a shredder drive motor and prevents such tripping, and generally automates an operation of the shredder. The system includes an image pickup device for picking up an image of a refuse inlet of the shredder, an image processor for binary-coding an image signal generated by the image pickup device to obtain a characteristic quantity of the refuse, and control calculator for calculating and outputting a control signal for controlling the feeding section and the shredding section on the basis of the characteristic quantity of the refuse obtained by the image processor.

  • Patent number: 4320092
Abstract: Improvements in a reaction vessel which includes a lower cylindrical section conically reduced in diameter toward the outlet end and an upper cylindrical section conically increased in diameter from the inlet end, the two sections being joined endways, and wherein a gas stream is tangentially introduced into the lower cylindrical section and is caused to react, inside the upper section, with a reactant liquid injected into the latter. A horizontal partition is provided within the lower cylindrical section conically reduced in diameter to divide the space therein into an upper and a lower spaces, whereby the gas stream is divided and separately passed, in a spiral flow from the upper space and in a piston flow from the lower space, into the upper cylindrical section.
