  • Publication number: 20140228638
Abstract: An electronic endoscope system is composed of an electronic endoscope, a light source apparatus, and a temperature converter. The electronic endoscope has a CMOS sensor in a distal portion of an insert section to be inserted into a patient's body cavity. Illumination light from the light source apparatus is applied to the body cavity through the distal portion. The temperature converter obtains an average pixel value of an optical black (OB) region out of an imaging signal from the CMOS sensor, and converts the average OB pixel value into a temperature of the CMOS sensor on a frame-by-frame basis with the use of data in a temperature conversion table. The table represents a relationship between the average OB pixel value and the temperature of the CMOS sensor. Light quantity of the illumination light is adjusted in accordance with the temperature of the CMOS sensor to prevent deterioration of image quality.

  • Patent number: 5786966
Abstract: A cassette for a VCR or the like is provided with a guard panel for covering a front surface opening of the cassette. The guard panel is provided with side plates at opposite ends thereof, and the side plates each have a support shaft for roratably mountin the guard panel to the cassette. One of the side plates is provided with a rib which is received in a gap formed in the cassette so that the guard panel, when covering the front surface opening of the cassette, is prevented from being dislodged by a shock or the like such as when the cassette is accidentally dropped. Alternatively, the cassette may be provided with a rib which fits into a stepped portion formed on one of the side plates to achieve the same result.

  • Patent number: 5606467
Abstract: A semiconductor memory is installed in a magnetic tape cassette so as to enable electric signals transmitted from the outside of the magnetic tape cassette to be recorded therein or reproduced therefrom. In addition, the magnetic tape cassette includes an output/input terminal by way of which the semiconductor memory is electrically connected to a recording/reproducing unit. With this construction, when the direction of running of a magnetic tape is reversed during a recording or reproducing operation, the recording/reproducing function of the semiconductor memory can be utilized in place of the recording/reproducing function of the magnetic tape with the aid of a changeover signal previously inputted into the magnetic tape at a position, e.g., in the proximity of the end of the magnetic tape. Thus, the occurrence of interruption the recorded/reproduced signals can be prevented by virtue of the substitutive recording/reproducing function of the semiconductor memory.

  • Patent number: 5531394
Abstract: A magnetic tape cassette includes a leaf spring and magnetic tape reels in which the depression force of the leaf spring is varied such that, in assembling the cassette, the leaf spring provides a relatively weak depression force thereby to facilitate cassette assembly, and when the cassette is in use, the leaf spring provides a relatively strong depression force to sufficiently depress the magnetic tape reels. The magnetic tape cassette also includes a pair of protrusions formed on the inner surface of the top wall of an upper half casing which can abut the arms of a leaf spring secured to the upper half casing, so that, in assembling the cassette, the leaf spring is bent until it is brought into contact with the protrusions. When the cassette is in use, the leaf spring is further bent with the protrusions serving as fulcra, thereby to increase its force of depression.

  • Patent number: 5495998
Abstract: In the magnetic tape cassette, upper and lower flanges 23a to 24c forming a tape reel 21 are formed alternately at a given angle in the two end portions of a reel hub 22 so that engaging gears 25a to 26c respectively formed on the outer peripheral edge portions of the upper and lower flanges 23a to 24c are substantially continuous in a plan view, and a brake claw is arranged so as to be engageable with any one of the engaging gears 25a to 26c regardless of the rotational position of the tape reel 21.

  • Patent number: 5424026
Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus for compressively molding cushioning material using a quadrangular cylindrical molding box having an end side closed by a receiver mold, whereas the other end of said molding box receives supply of dry raw material consisting of fiberized paper or pulp by a volume corresponding to several times the actual volume of a molded body. A compressive mold inserted from the other end of the molding box is shifted to one-end side of the molding box to compress supplied raw material between a receiver mold. Simultaneously, a core member is retreated to a predetermined position of said one-end side in association with the shifting movement of the compressive mold. As a result, the core portion having thin thickness and the interior of the core member can securely be compressed and molded with even density.

  • Patent number: 5354393
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a magnetic tape cassette incorporating and holding therein a tape winding member and having upper and lower half cases molded from a synthetic resin, wherein the upper and lower half cases are constructed such that conductive fillers form at least a joint between the cases. The components other than the magnetic tape are then inserted into the cassette and the halves are put one upon another prior to being heated by induction heating. Finally, the magnetic tape is wound onto the tape winding member.
