  • Publication number: 20180018164
Abstract: The present invention provides a vehicle-mounted control device, a program writing device, a program generating device, and a program, which are capable of quickly and easily carrying out reprogramming. An ECU 300 is provided with: a microcomputer 301, an SRAM 302, a flash memory 303, and a communication device 305. The flash memory 303 is configured from a plurality of blocks and stores older versions of the program. The communication device 305 receives (S250) a frame including block data, the type of the block data, and an address of a block in which the block data is to be written. The microcomputer 301 restores (S260) a new program from the block data in the SRAM 302 according to the type of the block data (S255, S260) and writes (S265, S270) one piece of the restored new program in a block corresponding to the address.

  • Patent number: 9766679
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a power monitoring device configured in such a manner as to make it as easy as possible to perform power monitoring, notification and control for customers in coordination with the power utilization rate of a utility grid. The power monitoring device is provided with: a target power setting unit that receives, from outside, information indicating the power utilization rate of a utility grid by time, and, with regard to time periods in which the power utilization rate is greater than a prescribed threshold value, reduces preset target power consumption levels, and sets target power consumption levels by time; and an assessment and control unit that obtains, from outside, the power usage of power-consuming devices, and performs control in order to save power for the power-consuming devices in time periods in which the obtained power usage exceeds the target power consumption level.

  • Publication number: 20150156270
Abstract: Devices used in mobile environments are making increasing demands for access to in-home content while commuting or traveling away from home. A content-receiving device that accesses an in-home content transmission device from outside the home: determines a method for establishing secure communication with a router in advance inside the home; executes a first authentication with the content transmission device and registration processing needed during access from outside the home; and registers information relating to the content-receiving device and out-of-home access information with the content transmission device. When utilizing the content-receiving device outside of the home to access the in-home content transmission device, the content transmission device sends content to the content-receiving device only when the content-receiving device is registered with the content transmission device, and only when second authentication is successful using the out-of-home access information therebetween.

  • Patent number: 8589970
Abstract: A content transmitter apparatus is provided which decides whether to permit a content receiver apparatus at a content transmission destination to retransmit content to another content receiver apparatus located inside a house and transmits to the content receiver apparatus the content along with an identifier indicating a permission or prohibition of the content retransmission. A content receiver apparatus is also provided which, when it receives encrypted content from the content transmitter apparatus, checks an identifier received together with the content in executing the content retransmission to another content receiver apparatus located outside the house. If the identifier is found to permit the content retransmission, the content receiver apparatus encrypts and retransmits the content to the outside-house content receiver apparatus. If the identifier is found to not permit the content retransmission, the content receiver apparatus does not retransmit the content to the outside of the house.

  • Patent number: 4803332
Abstract: A plasma treating apparatus for a sheet-like structure which comprises a generally drum-shaped first discharge electrode assembly rigidly mounted on a rotary shaft which extends through a vacuum vessel, the rotary shaft providing rotation to the electrode assembly. The sheet-like structure is adapted to follow the outer periphery of the first discharge electrode assembly. The apparatus further comprises a second discharge electrode assembly disposed within the vacuum chamber so as to confront the first discharge electrode assembly. The vacuum vessel is electrically insulated from an electric circuit which is connected to both of the first and second discharge electrode assemblies. Insulating members are also interposed between a cylindrical body of the drum of the first discharge electrode assembly and the rotary shaft to electrically insulate the first electrode assembly from the rotary shaft.
