  • Publication number: 20200307288
Abstract: A technique advantageous to stably holding a reading apparatus relative to a printing apparatus is provided. A printing system includes a recording apparatus and a reading apparatus. The recording apparatus includes a housing that incorporates a printing unit that performs printing on a recording medium. The housing includes a front surface portion having a discharge port for discharging the recording medium on which printing is performed, a back surface portion facing the front surface portion, and a side surface portion connecting the front surface portion with the back surface portion. The printing system includes a holding unit connected to the housing at least at one end, and holding the reading apparatus above the housing. The holding unit includes a first fixing member for fixing to the back surface portion, and a second fixing member for fixing to the side surface portion.

  • Publication number: 20200236236
Abstract: A document reading apparatus of a printing apparatus includes a document setting unit and a reading unit, the document reading apparatus being provided at a higher position compared to the printing unit, the document setting unit including a supporting surface configured to support a document, the reading unit being configured to read the document conveyed from the document setting unit. The document reading apparatus moves to a reading position and to a retracted position, in which the document reading apparatus is retracted from the reading position. Furthermore, the printing apparatus includes a cover member configured to cover the printing unit. The cover member includes an outer surface configured to support and guide the document together with the supporting surface in a case where the document reading apparatus is at the reading position.

  • Publication number: 20080056653
Abstract: An optical fiber tape unit comprising an optical fiber core having an outer diameter of 0.4 mm or more consisting of an optical fiber strand composed of an optical fiber, a primary coating layer and a secondary coating layer, and an overcoat layer formed around the outer circumference of the optical fiber strand, and a member for coupling a plurality of optical fiber cores arranged in parallel. Assuming that the overcoat layer has a Young's modulus E1 and a cross-sectional area A1 and the coupling member has a Young's modulus E2 and a cross-sectional area A2, following relations are satisfied: E1?E2 and E1 A1?E2 A2.
