A possibility of collision with the forward obstacle is determined if the forward obstacle is disposed between the vehicle and the next intersection and the vehicle maintains a current vehicle speed. When the possibility of collision is determined, the speed maintenance instruction is not output even if the predetermined condition is satisfied.
