  • Patent number: 11765817
Abstract: An object here is to provide a control device which can be reduced in size, weight and cost while being able to prevent unauthorized access. The control device includes: a microcontroller having a storage device, a processor, a package in which the storage device and the processor are accommodated, and multiple communication electrodes provided on a bottom surface of the package; and a wiring board having wiring layers comprised of a front surface layer, an intermediate layer and a rear surface layer, each having a wiring pattern formed therein, insulating members for insulating the respective wiring layers from each other; interlayer connection portions each making an electrical connection between the wiring patterns in different ones of the wiring layers; multiple electrode pads formed n the front surface layer; and communication-dedicated interlayer connection portions which are electrically connected to the respective electrode pads, and which are each externally exposed.

  • Patent number: 4905753
Abstract: A twin belt continuous casting machine for producing thin slabs includes a pair of belts and a pair of edge dams for forming a metal pool, which are movable in the transverse direction of the belt. A plurality of cooling/heating chambers partitioned in the transverse direction of the belt are provided on the rear surface of the belt in the vicinity of respective side end portions of the belts. A plurality of supporting members which are capable of pressing the rear surface of the belt are respectively provided in the plurality of cooling/heating chambers. The movement of the edge dams is synchronized with the operation of the plurality of supporting members. A fluid introduced into each of the cooling/heating chambers is changed into a heating fluid or a cooling fluid in synchronism with the movement of the edge dams.

  • Patent number: 4661151
Abstract: A treating agent of molten steel according to the present invention is used for desulfurization molten steel for desulfurizing it in a reaction vessel which is lined with a basic refractory containing MgO, and consists of CaO, CaF.sub.2 and MgO and unavoidable impurities contains from 10 to 60% by weight of MgO, and has a weight ratio of {(% CaF.sub.2)/((% CaO)+(% CaF.sub.2))}.times.100(%) of from 20 to 80%.Said agent is injected with the aid of inert carrier gas into the molten steel and floats toward a portion of the molten steel bath essentially free of slag. Another treating agent essentially consisting of CaO and CaF.sub.2 may be also injected prior and/or subsequent to injection of said agent, so as to decrease inclusions. The inert gas may also be injected after injection of said agent(s).

  • Patent number: 4424855
Abstract: In the equipment for continuous casting of steel, an improved method for cooling a continuous cast slab or the like by which a hot slab can be transferred directly to a rolling step. In accordance with the improved method, the continuous cast slab is subjected to indirect cooling by means of cooling a series of guide rolls with a gas-liquid mist, or if the equipment length is limited, the slab is subjected to direct cooling by means of a gas-liquid mist cooling step, and then to the indirect cooling step in a subsequent process.
