Accumulated values in the ROI-c, ROI-d, and ROI-e are respectively normalized with reference to an accumulated value in an ROI-a, to determine a sample vector. The sample vector is compared to a plurality of compound vectors corresponding to a plurality of compounds, and a compound forming the sample is estimated based on a compound vector having the highest similarity.

    Abstract: Provided are high purity tungsten pentachloride, and a method for obtaining such high purity tungsten pentachloride at a high yield and in an efficient manner. Tungsten pentachloride in which a total content of metal impurities excluding Sb, Ti, and As is less than 10 wtppm is obtained by uniformly mixing one or more types of reducing agents selected from Sb, Ti, and As and tungsten hexachloride at a molar ratio of 1.0:2.0 to 1.0:5.0 (reducing agent/WCl6 ratio) in an inert atmosphere to obtain a mixture, heating and reducing the mixture for 1 to 100 hours in a temperature range in which a chloride of tungsten and the reducing agent becomes a liquid phase to obtain a reduced product, heating the reduced product for 1 to 100 hours at 100 Pa or less and in a temperature range of 90 to 130° C.

    Abstract: A method comprises: annealing a steel sheet by conveying the steel sheet through a heating zone, a soaking zone, and a cooling zone in the stated order in an annealing furnace; and then applying a hot-dip galvanized coating onto the steel sheet discharged from the cooling zone. Reducing or non-oxidizing humidified gas and reducing or non-oxidizing dry gas are supplied into the soaking zone. A CO gas concentration is measured using a CO gas concentration meter provided in an exhaust portion for gas in the soaking zone. A decarburized layer thickness of the steel sheet is calculated from the measured CO gas concentration. At least one of a flow rate and a dew point of the humidified gas is controlled so that the calculated decarburized layer thickness is less than or equal to a predetermined thickness.
