At least one ground clearance sensor is also fitted close to or on the vehicle floor, and its directional characteristic is aligned toward the ground, that is toward the road surface. At least one memory unit is provided, which at least briefly stores each of the signals received from the ground clearance sensor, and/or signals derived therefrom.
