  • Patent number: 10340640
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining the current condition of power contacts and providing an indication to a preventive maintenance system and/or a user of required power contact replacement. The method includes auxiliary contacts providing a low power binary signal to a processor in response to movements of a contact carrier supporting the movable auxiliary contacts and movable power contacts. The low power binary signals, in combination with physical features of the contact carrier and a signal indicating the state of the power contact, provide information to the processor for determining the current condition of the power contacts, and if the current condition exceeds a predetermined limit, notifying the preventive maintenance system and/or the user.

  • Patent number: 9929496
Abstract: A rectilinear communications connector configured for use in applications where space for exiting communications cables is extremely limited. The rectilinear communications connector of the present invention includes a base extending from an exit end of the connector and a cap attachable to the base. The base and cap defining a cavity in which an articulation section of the communications cable is enclosed and protected. The articulation section is a portion of the communications cable having a protective sheath covering the plurality of communications wires removed, thereby permitting the individual communication wires to be easily configured such that the communications cable exits the rectilinear communications connector at approximately 90 degrees with respect to the longitudinal axis of the communications connector.

  • Patent number: 7338385
Abstract: The present invention is a putting tool to assist a golfer. The putting tool comprises a box like structural housing having a cavity therein. The housing is further defined by a top wall, bottom wall, back wall, first side wall, and an opposing second side wall. The front of the housing defines an opened an entry way for inserting foam into the cavity of the housing. An elastic band covers the front opening of the housing. At a predetermined location on the elastic band, a target is incorporated onto the band. Thus, when the golf ball hits the elastic band, the ball bounces off the band and automatically returns back to the putter.
