    Abstract: A scalpel handle for holding a blade includes a handle member and a finger-operable actuator having a blade shield portion. The actuator is mounted upon the handle member for movement relative thereto between a first condition at which the blade shield portion covers the edge of the blade and a second condition at which the blade shield portion is disposed in out-of-the-way position so that by moving the actuator between the first and second conditions, the blade shield portion is moved between its blade-covering and its out-of-the-way positions. An over center spring is interposed between the actuator and the handle member so that upon movement of the actuator into its second condition, the blade shield portion is biased into the out-of-the-way position and so that upon movement of the actuator into its first condition, the blade shield portion is biased into the blade-covering position.

    Abstract: A device for combining two rakes to provide a combination raking and picking up apparatus comprising a pair of sleeves pivotally attached to one another. A first rake handle is secured into the first of the connected sleeves. A second rake handle is removably attached to the second of the connected sleeves. The attachment of the second rake handle to the second sleeve allows the second rake to rotate at least 180 degrees within the second sleeve. This allows a user to use the apparatus for raking lawn debris and to easily convert the apparatus into a tool to pick up debris. An attachment for packing leaves into a receptacle is also provided.

    Abstract: A folding seat assembly is attachable to the upright vertical post for a tennis net and consists of a pair of interchangeable clamp brackets secured around the vertical post. An upper elongated tube is pivotally mounted to the upper clamp bracket and is slidably mounted to a bottom seat guide. A lower elongated tube is pivotally connected to the bottom clamp bracket and is pivotally connected to the bottom seat assembly to create a triangular support for the seat. A second seat can extend from the opposite side of the same pair of clamp brackets. The seat(s) are maintained in a vertical inactive position by an over-center arrangement and a detent mechanism.

    Abstract: A motorized drawer is moved from a fully closed to a fully open position, or vice versa, in response to user activation of a single pole double throw switch. The motor moving the drawer is connected to the user activated control switch and to a limit switch. Whenever the drawer reaches one of the end positions, a limit switch opens the circuit through which the motor was energized to move the drawer to that position. At the same time, the limit switch partially completes the circuit for energizing the motor in the opposite direction. The latter circuit is completed when the user again activates the control switch, i.e. completes the circuit allowing current flow through the motor in the direction required to drive the drawer to the other end.

    Abstract: A TV channel indicator wherein the tuner shaft carries a program disc having a plurality of cam sticks, each of which has a cam surface corresponding to a respective channel. There is a panel of leaf switches which play against the cam surfaces to close the switches in a manner dictated by the cam surface configuration, thereby selectively energizing the segments of a seven-segment numerical display to provide illuminated channel numbers corresponding to the tuner shaft position. Tuning of the tuner shaft brings the cam surfaces into registration with the switch ends.
