  • Publication number: 20230109632
Abstract: Provided is a method of estimating a solid solution amount of Mg for estimating a change with time of the solid solution amount of Mg which is an example of additive elements in an aluminum alloy. The method of estimating the solid solution amount of Mg includes a step of identifying a precipitate of the aluminum alloy with an equilibrium diagram prepared by simulation based on the CALPHAD method. The method of estimating the solid solution amount of Mg further includes a step of estimating the change with time of the solid solution amount of Mg from the identified precipitate with simulation based on the Langer-Schwartz theory and a numerical solution with the Kampmann-Wagner method.

  • Patent number: 5910370
Abstract: A polymeric film has a substrate layer having a primer layer of a polymer containing at least one ethylenically unsaturated group, and a silicone resin coating layer on the surface of the primer layer. The substrate is preferably a polyester film. The primer layer polymer is preferably a polyurethane resin. The polymeric film is particularly suitable for use as a release film.

  • Patent number: 5667889
Abstract: A polymeric film has a substrate layer having a primer layer of a polyurethane resin containing at least one ethylenically unsaturated group. The primer layer provides good adhesion to a subsequently applied release layer. The substrate is preferably a polyester film. Suitable release layers contain cured silicone resins.

  • Patent number: 5372988
Abstract: A thermal transfer printing dyesheet comprising a sheet substrate having at least a thermal transfer dyecoat on one face and a heat resisting slipping layer on the other face, is characterised in that the heat resisting slipping layer comprises a silicone resin powder having silsesquioxane structure, and at least one of a metal salt powder of a higher fatty acid and a metal salt powder of a higher fatty acid phosphate. This dyesheet showed a superior travelling, has an outstanding freedom from scratching, does not develop creases and moreover its storage stability was an excellent one having no adverse effect on the dyecoat.

  • Patent number: 4865913
Abstract: A thermal transfer ink sheet adopted to be repeatedly reused several times in a printing operation by means of a thermal printer. The thermal transfer ink sheet comprises a sheet-like base such as paper or a plastic film, a hot-melt ink layer stacked on the base with an adhesive layer disposed therebetween, and an ink-holding porous membrane layer filled with hot-melt ink and stacked on the ink layer. Another hot-melt ink layer may be further stacked on the ink-holding porous membrane layer.
