  • Patent number: 8787372
Abstract: Systems and methods of transmitting data to a plurality of devices are provided. In one example, a system is configured to broadcast data to a group of multiple devices. Each of the group of devices is configured to inspect the message and locally store the content of the message. Further, the group of devices is configured so that a single device of the group responds to each message.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 19, 2011
Date of Patent: July 22, 2014
    Assignee: Schneider Electric IT Corporation
Inventors: Daniel C. Cohen, James S. Spitaels, Brian P. Mearns, Himanshu Trivedi, Vishwas M. Deokar
  • Patent number: 8732602
Abstract: A system and method for altering a user interface of a power device is provided. The user interface includes an interface structure. The method includes acts of receiving user preference information, determining additional configuration information of the power device, adapting the interface structure based at least in part on the user preference information and the additional configuration information and providing at least a portion of the adapted interface structure to a user via the user interface.

  • Patent number: 8386809
Abstract: A system and method for directing a user to configure a power device via an alphanumeric user interface is provided. The power device may include data storage storing a plurality of operational parameters. The method includes acts of prompting, during an initial power-up of the power device, a user to enter an indication of quality of power supplied to the power device, receiving the indication via the user interface, determining a first value for each of the plurality of operational parameters of the power device based at least in part on the indication and applying each first value of the plurality of operational parameters to the power device.

  • Publication number: 20010047039
Abstract: The present invention relates to skin moisturizing compositions comprising a liquid crystal/gel network (LCGN) emulsion system comprising water, cationic emulsifiers, low HLB emulsifiers and emollients. In one aspect, the compositions comprise an emollient component as an occlusive agent, such as a petroleum-derived or a non-petroleum-derived occlusive agent, in the LCGN emulsion system. Additives such as adjuvants, active agents, or excipients may also be included in the compositions of the invention. The compositions of the present invention provide excellent moisturization and improved aesthetics (faster absorbency with more pleasant afterfeel properties) compared with traditionally available moisturizing products having different compositions and components and containing petroleum and/or mineral oil, to which are attributed greasiness and other unpleasant, user-perceived attributes.
