  • Publication number: 20060098110
Abstract: The present invention reads the image recorded in a recording medium, and displays the read image in a display unit. In a case where a changeover instruction to change the display image to the next image is continuously detected, the reading of the image by a reading unit and a display by the display unit are performed in order, and a display at the display unit is changed depending on whether or not the read image satisfies a predetermined condition.

  • Publication number: 20060038908
Abstract: An image processing apparatus is adapted to enlarge and display, in a case where image advancing is performed after an image is enlarged and displayed, a subsequent image while maintaining an enlargement position and an enlargement magnification set for the enlarged and displayed image if the subsequent image has a predetermined image attribute.

  • Publication number: 20050174457
Abstract: In an initial stage where an image obtained by image sensing is displayed, image data in a resolution depending on an image display area of display unit is displayed, thereby a high response can be maintained with respect to a request to display a next image or the like. Further, if a request with an enlargement ratio higher than that in the initial stage has been made, a display image is generated based on image data in a high resolution, thereby a user's request for enlarged display or the like can be fulfilled. When an image (JPEG file) stored in a recording medium is to be displayed, low resolution image data in 640×480 pixel size equivalent to the resolution of the display unit and high resolution image data in an original high resolution indicated with the image file are generated. In the initial stage, the low resolution image data is displayed. If an enlargement request has been made, partial image data cut out from the high resolution image data is resized and is displayed.

  • Publication number: 20050128529
Abstract: Upon continuously displaying a plurality of image data read from a recording medium, printing setting information including trimming information is set for the image data recorded to the recording medium with a corresponding relation to the image data. The displaying of the image data is controlled based on the determination of whether or not the printing setting information is set for each image data read from the recording medium.

  • Publication number: 20040044428
Abstract: This invention has as its object to record audio data by a simple operation upon recording the audio data as an operation sound or startup sound of an image sensing apparatus such as a digital camera or the like. To this end, upon recording audio data, since a startup sound, operation sound, shutter sound, and self-timer sound are set as purposes of audio data to be recorded, an audio recording time is set by selecting a desired one of these purposes. After the audio recording time is set, when audio recording is started by a user's intention, audio recording is executed for the set time, and other operations such as an audio recording stop operation and the like are inhibited during this interval. Hence, audio recording is executed until the set audio recording time elapses.

  • Publication number: 20020049590
Abstract: In a speech recording arrangement, a sentence to be recorded for speech recognition learning is presented to a user. Speech input by the user for the presented sentence is recognized to obtain a recognized character string. The speech pattern of the recognized character string is compared with the speech pattern of the presented sentence by DP matching to obtain a matching rate therebetween. It is determined whether the matching rate exceeds a predetermined level. If so, the input speech is recorded as learning data. If not, an unmatched portion between the recognized character string and the recording sentence is presented to the user. The user is then instructed to input the speech once again. With this arrangement, speech data with very few improperly pronounced words can be efficiently recorded.

  • Patent number: 6042625
Abstract: In a battery comprising a spirally wound electrode group, a lead plate drawn from one electrode of the electrode group and connected to the inner bottom surface of the battery case in electrically conducting relationship, and an insulating plate interposed between the lead plate and the electrode group, at least the bottom surface of the insulating plate is formed from a heat weldable material, and the lead plate is heat-welded to this heat weldable material. This construction not only serves to completely prevent accidental short-circuiting, but enables high-speed assembling of batteries.
