  • Publication number: 20030212831
Abstract: It is one objective of the present invention to provide an image processing device that can easily implement an image processing function consonant with the need or application of a user. The image processing device comprises task storage, a task manager, a component manager, and a software bus manager. The task storage controls task scenario information indicating components used for an image processing task and information as to couple the components, component information, and substances of the components. The task manager analyzes the task scenario information and determines components used for the task and a software bus connecting the components. The component manager generates, deletes, or controls the components. The software bus manager generates or deletes the software bus, and controls the data exchange across the software bus.

  • Patent number: 6457057
Abstract: A method and system for displaying a plurality of specified ones of pictures in an array of windows provided on a display screen of a computer based system. The size of moving and/or still pictures is reduced into size-reduced pictures with a size of the frames. The size-reduced pictures are coded into coded size-reduced pictures and stored in a hard disc. In response to a predetermined signal and a list of pictures to be displayed, a display frame is compiled from the coded size-reduced pictures specified by said list. The compiled frame is decoded and displayed.

  • Patent number: 6332003
Abstract: A moving image composing system for displaying reduced and encoded images at arbitrary positions on a multi-image raster. The moving image composing system comprises a moving image reducing unit for reducing a moving image inputted, a moving image encoding unit for encoding the reduced moving image to produce an encoded moving image, an accumulating unit for storing and accumulating the encoded image, and a moving image composing unit for combining more-than-one encoded moving images accumulated to produce a multi-image combined moving image. The moving image encoding unit performs the encoding processing to facilitate the change of positional information the reduced moving image has, in consideration with the case that the change of the position information occurs due to the disposition of the reduced moving image at its combination.

  • Patent number: 6310625
Abstract: In a clip display method the contents of a clip are clearly displayed and can be used to facilitate the editing of a motion picture. Obtained by dividing a motion picture are displayed by-employing typical images of individual clips, a graphic representation 24 of the picture images for a motion picture is divided to provide segments corresponding to the ratio of the lengths of the clips to the overall length of the motion picture, and sequences of the separate graphic segments linked to typical are shown. The positions of the clips relative to the motion picture and the ratios of lengths of the individual clips to the overall length of the motion picture can be visually ascertained.
