  • Publication number: 20070269021
Abstract: The tip end of the bonding tip is defined between first and second edges. A first inclined surface gets remoter from a first terminal at a position remoter from the first edge. The second inclined surface likewise gets remoter from the first terminal at a position remoter from the second edge. The solder is contoured by first and second contours on the first terminal. The second terminal is located on the solder between the first and second contours. The tip end of the bonding tip is urged against the second terminal. Heat is transferred from the bonding tip to the solder. The melted solder spreads into gaps between the second terminal and the first and second inclined surfaces. The solder is thus prevented from spreading outside the contour of the first terminal. This results in a reliable avoidance of a short circuit between the adjacent first terminals.

  • Patent number: 7268972
Abstract: A recording medium drive such as a hard disk drive includes a ramp member. The ramp member receives the tip end of a head actuator. A head slider is thus kept at a position spaced from the recording medium even when the recording medium stands still. A rectifier plate is formed on the ramp member and opposed to the surface of the recording medium at a distance. The rectifier plate serves to sufficiently suppress turbulence of airflow generated along the surface of the rotating recording medium. The suppression of the turbulence in this manner leads to prevention of oscillation of the head slider. The head slider can thus be positioned right at a target point at a higher accuracy. The recording medium drive of the type is capable of greatly contributing to a higher recording density.

  • Patent number: 7080638
Abstract: An internal combustion engine ignition device has a resin layer in a clearance between an insulator and a winding contained in the insulator. The ignition device has a cylindrical insulator and a resin layer. The insulator has an opening portion at one end and a bottom portion at the other end. The insulator contains one of a primary winding and a secondary winding. The resin layer is formed by charging a resin in the clearance between the insulator and one of the windings. The diameter of the inner periphery of the insulator gradually increases from the opening portion to the bottom portion. When the resin layer shrinks from the opening portion toward the bottom portion of the insulator, the resin layer can shrink without getting snagged on the inner periphery of the insulator.

  • Patent number: 6873094
Abstract: In an ignition device for an internal combustion engine which is mounted in a cylinder head in a state where a spark plug and an ignition coil are integrated with each other, the plug side tube section is made of ceramics and internally accommodates a center electrode and the coil side tube section is made of ceramics, with one of a primary winding and a secondary winding being wound around the coil side tube section. The plug side tube section and the coil side tube section are constructed as separate bodies and then combined with each other. This shortens the overall lengths of both the tube sections, thus preventing the occurrence of cracks or bends at calcining and improving the dimension accuracy after the calcining.

  • Publication number: 20040066124
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a spark plug gasket (provided on the outer surface of the metal member of a spark plug) which assures a sealing between the spark plug and engine head by elastically deforming itself during screwing in the spark plug into an engine head and at the same time does not easily suffer an plastic deformation during driving the engine. The two requirements for assuring the close contact capability and suppressing the plastic deformation are simultaneously satisfied by a twice or three-times bent gasket with Hv0.5 of greater than or equal to 200 and smaller than or equal to 400. particularly, the twice bent gasket of the thickness of the gasket plate itself of 0.3 mm and made of SUS 304 of Hv0.5 of 350 did hardly suffer a loss of springiness under 50 G vibration.
