Publication number: 20130260663Abstract: An air mixing damper, which is displaceable in a direction substantially perpendicular to an air flow direction, is disposed between an evaporator and a heater core in a casing that constitutes a vehicular air conditioner. In the air mixing damper, a plurality of ribs are formed so as to project on a side of a dividing wall that divides an air flow passage, and rack gears, which are enmeshed with a shaft, are formed on an inner circumferential surface on the opposite side thereof. In addition, when the air mixing damper is assembled in the casing, in a condition in which the ribs are in abutment against a sealing surface of the dividing wall, pinion gears of the shaft are enmeshed with the rack gears, whereby jostling of the air mixing damper is prevented.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 15, 2013Publication date: October 3, 2013Applicant: KEIHIN CORPORATIONInventors: Koichi Kaiyama, Hiroharu Takahashi, Yoshiomi Ito

Patent number: 6353480Abstract: An apparatus and a method for generating and outputting image data. The method and apparatus includes inputting information output from an external apparatus, judging whether or not the inputted information includes specific control data, and controlling switching between a plurality of modes based on whether the inputted information includes the specific control data. The plurality of modes including a first mode in which the image data is converted into a video signal in parallel with description processing of the image data and a second mode in which the image data is converted into the video signal after the description processing of one page of the image data is performed.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 1999Date of Patent: March 5, 2002Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Hiroharu Takahashi

Patent number: 6147770Abstract: An image processing system including a host computer, a scanner and a printer, which can reduce the load added to the host computer as well as burden to a user, and improve data transfer efficiency. When an image is scanned by the scanner connected to the host computer, the processing conventionally performed by the host computer or a printer is selected by a scan control selection unit and the selected processing is performed at the time of scanning.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 1997Date of Patent: November 14, 2000Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Masaki Unishi, Hiroharu Takahashi, Shin Muto

Patent number: 6111657Abstract: In an information processing system capable of suppressing an amount of data traffic relating to process on a network and reducing a processing time, the amount of data traffic is measured. If the measured amount exceeds a predetermined value and if the amount of data traffic is to be suppressed, then it is determined whether a resolution is to be lowered, and/or whether the number gradation levels is to be reduced. Based on a positive determination, the system temporarily shifts to a lower resolution and/or reduces the number of gradation levels, and converts the data to be processed accordingly.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 1997Date of Patent: August 29, 2000Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Shin Muto, Satoshi Nagata, Hiroharu Takahashi

Patent number: 6035149Abstract: An output apparatus and method receives first information from an external source, generates second information based on the received first information, and outputs the generated second information. The apparatus includes a selector for discriminating the received first information by comparing a code included in the first information with codes provided in a number of analyzers and for selecting one of the number of analyzers suitable for the first information. The apparatus also includes a controller for skipping the received first information when the selector can select no suitable analyzer, when no data is input for a predetermined time to an input interface via which the first information was received, or until the input interface is switched.Type: GrantFiled: August 5, 1997Date of Patent: March 7, 2000Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Masamichi Akashi, Satoshi Nagata, Yutaka Murakami, Yoichi Toyokura, Yukio Kanakubo, Hiroharu Takahashi, Masami Kashiwazaki

Patent number: 6002848Abstract: In an output method and output apparatus, one page of text data is divided into portions corresponding to bands of the print image of the page. Each portion of data is serially developed as a high-density image (600 dpi) on a bit map memory, and then is serially printed. One page of graphic data is, as a whole, developed as a low-density image (300 dpi) on the bit map memory. The low-density image is smoothed before output.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 1997Date of Patent: December 14, 1999Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Hiroharu Takahashi

Patent number: 5666584Abstract: An information outputting method and apparatus monitors a depressing state of a predetermined key. Depressing the predetermined key switches between ordinary display modes of a plurality of displays such as LEDs allocated to a predetermined state of information alarms and a special display mode. After completion of the switching instruction, either one of the information display processings allocated to the displays which are sequentially turned on is started in accordance with a depression instructing state of the key. The instruction information is input through a key input device of an operation panel of the apparatus.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 1994Date of Patent: September 9, 1997Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Masamichi Akashi, Satoshi Nagata, Yutaka Murakami, Yoichi Toyokura, Yukio Kanakubo, Hiroharu Takahashi, Masami Kashiwazaki
