  • Patent number: 9085124
Abstract: A heat sealable polypropylene resin laminate film having good toughness and heat sealing strength and energy sufficient for packaging heavy goods, mainly fruits and vegetables, and a package made of such film, is a laminate film having three or more layers, a substrate layer made of a crystalline polypropylene resin, a heat sealable layer having a melting point of not more than 150° C., and an intermediate layer. The product of the tensile modulus of elasticity (GPa) in both orthogonal directions of the film is 3.1-6.0 (GPa)2, and the heat sealing energy is not less than 11N·cm/15 mm when the film is sealed, such that the heat sealing strength of the film is not less than 8N/15 mm.

  • Patent number: 8043712
Abstract: [Problem] Provision of a heat-sealable multilayer polypropylene-based resin film having heat seal strength sufficient for packaging a heavy article and tight-sealing property, and a packaging material using the film. [Solving means] A heat-sealable multilayer polypropylene-based resin film comprising a crystalline polypropylene-based resin and a propylene-?-olefin copolymer, which is an oriented polypropylene-based resin film made of a laminate of 3 or more layers of a substrate layer having a melting point of 155° C. or less, an intermediate layer and a thermal adhesion layer having a melting point of 150° C. or less, wherein the intermediate layer has a xylene-soluble content of 2.5% or less, the substrate layer has a melting point higher than that of the intermediate layer, and the intermediate layer has a thickness of 4 ?m or above.

  • Patent number: 7879439
Abstract: A wide polyolefin film may be made by high-speed film forming, which has uniform properties over its whole width and is free of thickness irregularities, and provides a packaging film applicable to large-scale production which has good gloss and bag-making property, as well as a package made from the film. A polyolefin laminate film includes an oriented base layer that is mainly made up of a polypropylene resin and a sealing layer mainly made up of a polyolefin resin which is formed on at least one surface of the base layer, which film has an effective product takeout width of not less than 5500 mm and satisfies the following relational formula of the thickness variation rate Y (%) of the film and the product takeout width X (mm) of the film: Y?0.001X+4.
