  • Patent number: 8062391
Abstract: Provided is a method for purifying a biodiesel fuel while completely preventing or greatly reducing generation of waste water. The present invention relates to a method for purifying a biodiesel fuel characterized by applying an electric field to or heating a crude biodiesel fuel and a method for purifying a biodiesel fuel characterized by adding water (preferably containing a demulsifier such as an inorganic calcium salt or a magnesium salt) to a crude biodiesel fuel to form W/O emulsion, and breaking the emulsion by application of an electric field or heating, etc.

  • Patent number: 7459842
Abstract: A vacuum retention agent, which is safe, easy to handle, saves space, and absorbs residual gases inside a hermetic envelope to maintain the hermetic envelope in a high degree of vacuum is provided in place of the conventional metal getter. A display device including the vacuum retention agent is provided. A gas occlusion material containing ZrOx (where 1?x?2) is disposed in a hermetic envelope forming a self-luminous element. ZrOx is formed in pattern from a paste of zirconium dioxide, which can be generally obtained as a reagent. In a production step, the patterned self-luminous element is hermetically sealed in vacuum in an atmosphere at 120° C. to 500° C., so that the vacuum retention effect is more improved.

  • Publication number: 20060006789
Abstract: A fluorescent display tube is provided, which employs a non-evaporation type getter, instead of the evaporation-type Ba getter, whereby the serviceable life of the fluorescent substance containing SrTiO3 as a base component is prolonged. At least one or more elements selected from the group consisting of Zr, V, Fe, Ti, Ma, Mn, and La are used for the getter for fluorescent display tubes, each which employs a fluorescent substance containing SrTiO3 as a base component. This feature allows carbon series residual gases remaining in the tube to be removed, so that the serviceable operation can be prolonged.

  • Publication number: 20040113131
Abstract: A mixture phosphor is provided by mixing a phosphor of a red luminous color devoid of Cd with a phosphor of a green family luminous color also devoid of Cd, wherein a luminous color of the mixture phosphor is a warm color ranging from yellow to orange. And, in the mixture phosphor, S component is removed or less than that of the conventional phosphor of the warm luminous color. Accordingly, a dark streak may not appear or a dark streak appearing time may be delayed, thereby providing a fluorescent display device having an improved display quality.
