  • Publication number: 20150228192
Abstract: An operation management center divides an operation area in which an on-demand bus operates into a plurality of predetermined sub-areas, and searches for candidate routes on which the on-demand bus travels for each divided sub-area. The center sets one of the retrieved routes as a basic route, and sets, as adjustment time for each divided sub-area, time required when the bus passes through a location separated from the basic route. Thus, by setting such adjustment time for each sub-area, and by using the adjustment time set for each sub-area, the center can determine an operation plan that takes into account an additional request while reducing an impact on the determined operation plan.

  • Publication number: 20150222771
Abstract: A reading apparatus including a reading device, a sheet tray, a conveyer, a receiving device, and a control device configured to execute, when the receiving device receives a read instruction, a conveying process of causing the conveyer to start conveyance of a sheet, execute a reading process of causing the reading device to read an image of the sheet passing a reading position of the reading device, execute a stop determining process of determining whether a stop condition of the conveyer is satisfied, and execute, in response to determining that the stop condition is satisfied, a stopping process of causing a leading edge of a next sheet to be stopped in a specific position which is any position between the sheet tray and the reading position.

  • Publication number: 20150062658
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes: an obtaining unit configured to obtain a multi-value image as an obtained image; and a control device configured to: convert the obtained image into a first binary image; determine whether the first binary image is a blank paper image, on the basis of the first binary image; and output a binary image, the binary image outputting including: outputting the first binary image in a case where it is determined that the first binary image is not the blank paper image; and not outputting the first binary image in a case where it is determined that the first binary image is the blank paper image.

  • Publication number: 20140336965
Abstract: An electronic control unit of a charge/discharge assist device has a data input section, a departure/arrival time prediction map generation section, a travel distance prediction map generation section, a rule curve creation section, and a data output section. The input section inputs departure time information, arrival time information, and travel distance information. The prediction map generation section creates a map for providing a predicted departure time in future and a map for providing a predicted arrival time in future. The prediction map generation section creates a departure-time-zone-specific predicted travel distance map for predicting the longest travel distance in each departure time zone. On the basis of the predicted travel distance map, the creation section determines an electric energy required in each time zone and creates a rule curve. The output section creates a charge plan or a discharge plan by using the rule curve and outputs the plan.

  • Patent number: 8666716
Abstract: The present invention provides a traffic simulator which can simulate traffic conditions with high accuracy. Cautionary object searching portion searches for cautionary objects which a driver should heed when driving a vehicle model; recognized cautionary object selection portion and driver-recognized cautionary object selection portion, based on driver ability information set by data creation portion, select cautionary objects recognized by a driver from the found cautionary objects; and movement determination portion determines the movement of a vehicle model based on the selected cautionary objects.

  • Publication number: 20110087921
Abstract: A reproducing apparatus 100 that reproduces content recorded in a recording medium 101 avoids reentering the same fault state and becoming unrecoverable at the time of occurrence of an unrecoverable CPU error, such as misalignment. Fault information is stored in nonvolatile memory, or the like, and the thus-stored fault information is used to cause reproduction control processing to branch before execution of a processing routine to be invoked at the time of occurrence of an unrecoverable CPU error, such as misalignment, thereby preventing the reproducing apparatus from reentering the same fault state.

  • Publication number: 20110029281
Abstract: A link travel time calculation device includes: a collection element for collecting a travel position and a transit time in each vehicle; and a link travel time calculation element. The calculation element calculates a total travel time interval of all sections based on the travel position and the transit time in a predetermined time period. The calculation element calculates a first travel time interval of an upstream section and a second travel time interval of a downstream section based on the travel position and the transit time. The calculation element calculates a travel time interval of the object link with respect to the predetermined time period by subtracting a sum of the first travel time interval and the second travel time interval from the total travel time interval.
