  • Patent number: 9407051
Abstract: A waterproof intermediate spliced portion of wires includes an intermediate spliced portion of the wires, waterproofing agent supplied to the intermediate spliced portion and cured, and a protective sheet for covering around the waterproofing agent supplied to the intermediate spliced portion. The protective sheet has flexibility capable of being deformed following the deformation of the surface of the waterproofing agent supplied to the intermediate spliced portion and covers the waterproofing agent in a state held in close contact with the surface of the waterproofing agent.

  • Publication number: 20130175069
Abstract: It is aimed to suppress a clearance between a waterproofing agent supplied to an intermediate spliced portion connecting wires and a protective sheet covering the waterproofing agent in waterproofing the intermediate spliced portion. A waterproof intermediate spliced portion of wires includes an intermediate spliced portion of the wires, waterproofing agent supplied to the intermediate spliced portion and cured, and a protective sheet for covering around the waterproofing agent supplied to the intermediate spliced portion. • Publication number: 20130059469
Abstract: A connector-connecting terminal treatment structure for shielded wires includes the plurality of shielded wires, a first water stopper, and a second water stopper. The plurality of shielded wires are arranged in parallel to one another, and each of the shielded wires has an exposed strand portion and a covered portion. The first water stopper is configured with a paste waterproof agent integrally covering a boundary portion between the exposed strand portions and the covered portions in the plurality of shielded wires. The sheet-like water stopper through which the paste waterproof agent does not penetrate is provided so as to cover the outer periphery of the first water stopper as well as to tightly attach to the outer periphery of the exposed strand portions and the covered portions at both the lateral sides of the first water stopper in the extending direction of the shielded wires.

  • Patent number: 7850806
Abstract: A waterproof method for a wire end joint includes expanding a heat shrinkable tube radially outwardly. The method then includes inserting the wire end joint and a melted thermosetting waterproofing agent through an opening at an end of the waterproof protection tube. A solidification starting temperature of the waterproofing agent is set higher than a shrinkage starting temperature of the heat shrinkable tube. The method then applies heating so that the heat shrinkable tube shrinks to the original diameter and so that the waterproofing agent is not solidified. The heating is continued to the solidification starting temperature after the heat shrinkable tube is shrunk to a set inner diameter, thereby causing the thermosetting waterproofing agent to be solidified.
