    Abstract: Provided are membrane elements and membrane units capable of easily forming a space part surrounded with a frame body above the membrane elements regardless of the number of the membrane elements. That is, the membrane elements are membrane elements each comprising filtering membranes on both surfaces of a plate-like supporting plate, wherein spacer parts are formed in both side parts for keeping the membrane face distance to adjacent membrane elements being prescribed intervals, and the spacer parts have through bolt insertion holes and are extended upward from the upper end part of the supporting plate. The membrane units are configured by arranging a plurality of the membrane elements in such a manner that the channel parts formed in the spacer parts are brought into contact with each other, seal panels are installed in the outermost parts of the arranged membrane elements, and a frame body is formed by surrounding the space above the filtering membranes by the spacer parts and the seal panels.

    Abstract: A yarn feeding means comprising a yarn detaching guide positioned in the vicinity of a positively rotating roller for feeding a yarn continuously fed from a supply source to a yarn winder and capable of selectively occupying either of two positions, one of which is a retractive position where the detaching guide is non-operative to the yarn path and the other is a projective position where the detaching guide is engageable with the yarn path to detach the yarn from the positively rotating roller. The yarn detaching guide holds the yarn during the threading operation away from the feed roller whereby the yarn can be withdrawn even by a standard capacity suction gun irrespective of a high surface speed of the feed roller. A winder comprising the yarn detaching guide is also provided.

This apparatus comprises sample yarn collecting means for collecting sample yarns from packages and connecting each of them to form one continuous yarn, means for storing the continuous yarn fed from said collecting means on a rotary member by winding it and feeding the continuous yarn wound and stored on the rotary member to testing means by unwinding it, and supplementary means for controlling the above two means.
