  • Publication number: 20170258196
Abstract: A voltage supply unit in a hair care device includes a voltage supply member which has an exposed surface exposed to the outside and is attached to a housing, and a first conductive section that is electrically connected to the voltage supply member. Furthermore, the voltage supply member has a visible light transmission section having visible light transparency, the visible light transmission section having a second conductive section electrically connected to the first conductive section. In addition, the second conductive section has a contact surface contacted by supply object U, and at least a portion of the exposed surface serves as the contact surface. Furthermore, a shield section that overlaps an entirety of the exposed surface and does not transmit visible light is provided inward of the exposed surface.

  • Publication number: 20090078800
Abstract: There is provided an electrostatic atomizer that electrostatically atomizes a liquid supplied to a discharge electrode by electric discharge caused by an electric field formed in response to voltage application to the discharge electrode. The electrostatic atomizer has a high-voltage generation circuit that generates a pulse voltage to be applied to the discharge electrode, and the high-voltage generation circuit includes a high-voltage control circuit that converts an input AC signal to a pulse signal, and an igniter that steps up the pulse signal obtained by the high-voltage control circuit to a voltage value of the pulse voltage to be applied to the discharge electrode.

  • Publication number: 20080263887
Abstract: A hair dryer with a nozzle designed to effectively spread out the wetted hair strands for enhanced drying capability. The nozzle is configured to have its interior space divided into a plurality of individual ducts by a separation plane extending radially about a center axis. A weak flow zone where no direct air flow is given from the nozzle is formed downstream of the separation plane and between strong flow zones respectively formed downstream of the individual ducts to flow the forced air flow directly therefrom. With the provision of the localized strong flow zones separated by the weak flow zone, the nozzle can develop a waved air flow of varying flow rate, thereby enabling to spread out the wetted hair strands and therefore increase chances of exposing the hair to the air flow for expediting the hair drying.
