Abstract: A gelling agent having a high ability of gelling an oily base which is capable of giving a gel composition having a strong gel strength and a good transparency, a gel composition having a strong gel strength and a good transparency, an external composition having a good feel upon use, a cosmetic preparation having a good feel upon use, and a fragrance composition having a good transparency and a good appearance is provided. An amide compound represented by the following formula 1: is used. In formula 1, R1, R2 and R3 are each independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having a carbon number of from 1 to 3 with the proviso that at least one of R1, R2 and R3 is a hydrogen atom.

Abstract: Provided are a hair bleach composition, hair dye composition and a hair treatment additive having excellent bleaching power, capable of dyeing the hair with a bright and good color, and less damaging to the hair and less irritating to the scalp. Described specifically, they are a two-part hair bleach composition, which contains (a) a nitrogenous compound represented by the following formula (1) or (2): or salt thereof, or (A) a nitrogenous compound having a solubility parameter log P in octanol/water ranging from ?1 to 4 and a hydrogen peroxide remaining ratio of from 5 to 90%, or salt thereof, (b) an oxidizing agent, and optionally (c) an alkali agent and, after mixing, has a pH of from 7.5 to 12; a two-part hair dye composition comprising (a) or (A), (b) and (c) and further (d) an oxidation dye or direct dye; and an additive used therefor.

Abstract: The invention provides a bleaching catalyst and a bleaching composition having a sufficient bleaching effect even at low temperatures and being excellent in an effect of preventing color migration in fibers with less bleach of dyes and less damage to fibers. Abstract: Glycine derivatives represented by the following formula (1) and cleanser compositions containing the same: ##STR1## wherein R is a linear or branched alkyl group having 11 to 13 carbon atoms, a linear or branched alkenyl group having 11 to 13 carbon atoms, or a linear or branched hydroxyalkyl group having 11 to 13 carbon atoms, and M.sub.1 and M.sub.2 are the same or different from each other and each independently is a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, 1/2 (an alkaline earth metal atom), an ammonium group, a monoalkanolammonium group having 1 to 22 carbon atoms, a dialkanolammonium group having 2 to 22 carbon atoms in total, a trialkanolammonium group having 3 to 22 carbon atoms in total, or a protonated basic amino acid, are excellent in foaming, detergency, comfort in use and safety, are antipollutive and can be used for various purposes, for example, a cleanser composition for the hair and body or tableware.

Abstract: Taurine derivatives represented by the following formula (1) and cleanser compositions containing the same: ##STR1## wherein R is a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl group having 5 to 21 carbon atoms, and M.sub.1 and M.sub.2 are the same or different from each other and each independently is a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, 1/2 (an alkaline earth metal atom), an ammonium group, etc.,are excellent in foaming, detergency, comfort in use, rinsability, safety and biodegradability and are employed as a cleanser for the hair and body or tableware.

Abstract: An electrically conductive paste composition comprises an electrically conductive powder, a solvent and an organic binder comprising one or more monohydric phenol adduct compound selected from the group consisting of:(a) a monohydric phenol adduct of an unsaturated fatty acid, its metal salt or an unsaturated fatty acid ester,(b) a saturated or unsaturated fatty acid ester of said phenol adduct (a),(c) a sulfonation product of said phenol adduct (a) and(d) an amination product of said phenol adduct. It is applied to a resin article to provide an electric circuit having an improved adhesion.
