  • Patent number: 7261531
Abstract: By increasing an area of the fluid discharge ports to increase a discharge capacity, drain water can quickly be discharged. Furthermore, the number of fluid supply ports is increased and the ports are equally spaced to thereby quickly and uniformly fill a heated steam or the like into a bladder. As a result, it is possible to reduce a cycle time of a tire vulcanizing step to thereby increase productivity in a fluid supply/discharge head of the bladder in a tire vulcanizing machine. In the tire vulcanizing machine, the fluid supply ports and the fluid discharge ports which are open to face an inside of the bladder are formed in the head block, the fluid discharge ports are disposed on the lower side of the head block, the fluid supply ports are disposed on the upper side of the head block, and the fluid discharge ports and the fluid supply ports are not disposed on the same plane.

  • Patent number: 7238013
Abstract: Disclosed is a gas cycle apparatus for a tire vulcanizer, configured to increase the circulating flow rate of a heating gas by preventing a gas feeder of the gas cycle apparatus from being subjected to an excessive load caused by a drain, and thereby capable of shortening the tire vulcanizing time by improving the temperature difference eliminating capacity in a bladder, to thereby allow the enhancement of the production capacity of tires. A gas circulating flow path 2 constituted by allowing a forward flow path 2a and a return flow path 2b to communicate with each other, is connected to a bladder 1; a gas supply flow path 3 is connected to the forward flow path; an air-water separation section 5 is provided on the way through the return flow path; the return flow path is connected to an upper space 5a of the air-water separation section; and a gas discharge flow path 4 is connected to a lower space 5b of the air-water separation section.

  • Patent number: 7001164
Abstract: The present invention provides a locking and unlocking mechanism of a post-curing in which a male mold is simplified in structure and reduced in weight, and the entire device including an upper flange hoisting and lowering device is reduced in size and weight. The locking and unlocking mechanism comprises a pair of flanges 1 and 2 for closing openings formed in left and right side surfaces of the tire, and a lock mechanism A provided between the flanges for supporting an expansion load of the tire. The lock mechanism A comprises a male rod 4 projecting from a surface of one of the flanges, and a female mold 3 of the other flange with which a tip end of the male rod 4 is engaged. An adjust mechanism for setting a length of the male rod 4 is connected to a base portion of the male rod 4. The male rod 4 is provided with a slide portion extended as the tire is expanded. The adjust mechanism sets a distance between the flanges 1 and 2 in accordance with a width of the tire.

  • Patent number: 6971628
Abstract: A direct-acting electric operated valve has a stem which reciprocates by an electric motor without using air pressure. In this direct-acting electric operated valve, as the stem 2 vertically reciprocates, a first passage 11 and a second passage 12 are switched over. A cam mechanism 4 is formed for converting rotary reciprocating motion of an eccentric cam 42 which rotary reciprocates by an electric motor 40 into vertical reciprocating motion. The eccentric cam is retained at an upper retaining position X which is slightly exceeding a top dead center X1 and at a lower retaining position Y which is slightly exceeding a bottom dead center Y1. In a state in which an integral coil spring 35 which is previously held between an upper spring seat 32 and a lower spring seat 34 in its compressed state is mounted to a spring shaft 30 which extends from a cam mechanism, the coil spring 35 is accommodated in a spring case 36 connected to the stem.

  • Patent number: 6890165
Abstract: When the loading device or the unloading device is transferred, a procedure for separating the attaching/detaching-side rim mold to separate both the rim molds is eliminated, and the loading procedure and unloading procedure are simplified correspondingly, and the operation efficiency is enhanced. The present invention provides a tire grasping device of a PCI device in which a stroke amount when separating or coupling the attaching/detaching-side rim mold from and to the body-side rim mold is reduced to such a degree that the grasped tire does not interfere with the body-side rim mold and thus, the device is reduced in size. A post-vulcanization inflating device comprises a body-side rim mold 2 and an attaching/detaching-side rim mold 3.

  • Patent number: 6729865
Abstract: A tire vulcanizing machine has a tire receiving position, tire supplying position, tire vulcanizing position, and tire removing position. A receiving table receives a green tire and provides the tire to a tire supplying device. The tire supplying device positions the tire on a lower die and an upper die closes. The dies vulcanize and mold the green tire therebetween. A removing device transfers the vulcanized tire to a cooling device and ejects the cooled tire to a transfer conveyor. The receiving table, lower die and removing device are joined to each other and make a reciprocating movement at the same time at their set positions along with a transfer unit.
