Abstract: There is provided with a check control unit which executes check operations selected by selection switches and a rear chute opening/closing detection sensor based on detection results of insertion detecting sensors and at least one of turn-on and turn-off of a check button when it is judged that predetermined check operations can be done based on the detection result of an storage cassette opening/closing detection sensor.

Abstract: A coin selector for use in a coin mechanism of vending machines and the like is disclosed. The coin selector includes a device which determines whether a deposited coin is real or fake, and a movable gate which selectively conducts the deposited coin into a real coin chute or a fake coin chute in response to an operational result of the determining device. A detector is positioned upstream of the entrances to the real coin chute and the fake coin chute, and outputs an electrical signal which is dependent upon the position of the gate and the moving condition of the coin as it passes by the detector. The coin selector further includes a judging circuit which receives the output from the detector and determines whether the gate is in position to conduct the coin into the real coin chute or the fake coin chute.

Abstract: A sterilizing apparatus has a vertical ultrasonic horn with an output tip at the low end thereof and an antiseptic solution holding receptacle that is disposed in a manner that a part of the horn is inside the holding receptacle and the output tip is below a bottom wall of the holding receptacle. An antiseptic solution is first supplied into the holding receptacle that temporarily holds the solution. The solution gradually and continuously flows out from the holding receptacle through outlet holes, which are located in the bottom wall of the holding receptacle and contiguous with the horn, onto the surface of the output tip of the horn so that the horn, while vibrating at the ultrasonic frequency, causes the antiseptic solution to be atomized on the output tip and changed into a state of mist with which the sterilization is performed.
