  • Patent number: 6240126
Abstract: Test hopping frequency data stored in the hopping frequency data table 35b is set in the hopping table 26 as a data setting signal w. Digital test data is transmitted while hopping the carrier wave frequency among the frequency candidates which correspond to the hopping frequency data thus set in the hopping table 26. Frequency candidates which have attained high recognition rate for the test data are selected as a carrier wave hopping pattern, and are set in the hopping table 26. Bi-directional communication will be performed thereafter while the carrier wave frequency hops according to the hopping pattern.

  • Patent number: 6212221
Abstract: A communication apparatus having a master device connected with a plurality of outside lines and a plurality of slave devices wirelessly connected with the master device, the communication of the communication data between the master device and the plurality of slave devices being performed for each communication frame on the basis of the spread spectrum communication method, the communication apparatus further having, the master device having: an allocation device for dividing the communication frame into at least a first slot and a second slot, for allocating the first slot to the communication data to be used for performing a first communication between the master device and a first slave device among the plurality of slave devices, and for allocating the second slot to the communication data to be used for performing a second communication between the master device and a second slave device among the plurality of slave devices; and a second communicating device for performing simultaneously the first comm

  • Patent number: 6130905
Abstract: A wireless communication device for performing bi-directional communication using a frequency hopping method, in which the communication time at any one frequency can be varied. The user uses the dial to adjust the length of time during which a single frequency is used. Accordingly, if the volume of data is large, as in image data, the communication time can be increased. If the volume of data is small, as in voice data, the communication time can be decreased. If privacy is desirable, the communication time is decreased, whereas increasing the communication time will increase the transfer rate. Such settings can be made manually by the user to suit the user's needs, or can be made automatically based on the type of data being transferred.
