Based on the content information, a plurality of page images generated by making a picture of the web page, pseudo UIF display data corresponding to UIF included in the web page, URL information indicating URL address of a top page of the website to be browsed, and a control code for providing the mobile phone with various functions related to the website browsing are combined, and thereby generating a website browsing application.     Abstract: The present invention can generate an image for webpage browsing that allows a webpage to be displayed in an optimum size at a portable terminal, and can also suppress communication costs as much as possible. A server acquires data of a webpage for which acquisition is requested from a portable terminal, renders the acquired webpage, and acquires a font size of characters in the webpage (step S15). The server receives a model name from the portable terminal, and acquires an optimum font size for the model of the portable terminal based on the received model name and a model name and optimum font size that are associated and stored in a memory. The server generates a browser image based on the font size of the webpage and the optimum font size (step S16), and transmits the browser image together with extracted link information (step S17) to the portable terminal (step S18).

    Abstract: System and method of generating feature descriptors for image identification. Input image is Gaussian-blurred at different scales. A difference of Gaussian space is obtained from differences of adjacent Gaussian-blurred images. Key points are identified in the difference-of-Gaussian space. For each key point, primary sampling points are defined with three dimensional relative positions from key point and reaching into planes of different scales. Secondary sampling points are identified for each primary sampling point. Secondary image gradients are obtained between an image at a primary sampling point and images at secondary sampling points corresponding to this primary sampling point. Secondary image gradients form components of primary image gradients at primary sampling points. Primary image gradients are concatenated to obtain a descriptor vector for input image.
