  • Publication number: 20240127982
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a converting portion having a plurality of electrical conductors to be arranged in mutual separation and a medium arranged so as to mutually connect the plurality of electrical conductors, wherein the converting portion is the information processing apparatus to convert an input signal to an output signal. The medium includes the electrolyte and is configured to be capable of controlling an electrical conductivity of an electrically conductive path mutually electrically connecting the plurality of electrical conductors, and the medium is selected such that the electrical conductivity of the electrically conductive path changes over time with the input signal not being present.

  • Patent number: 8634665
Abstract: This invention relates to an image processing apparatus and an image processing method for improving the processing capacity per unit time in encoding and decoding images. A coefficient line sorting portion 104 sorts coefficient lines into an order which is different from that of wavelet inverse transform process as well as from that of transmission and in which the coefficient lines are sorted for an encoding process of which the degree of difficulty of encoding can be estimated by a rate control portion 109 at the earliest possible time. An encoded line sorting portion 108 sorts encoded lines into an order which is different from that of wavelet inverse transform process and in which the encoded lines are transmitted with improved resistance to the instability of the available transmission rate. This invention can be applied to image processing apparatus, for example.

  • Patent number: 8411984
Abstract: An image processing device includes a supply unit that supplies a coefficient data group in each sub-band, in which image data of a predetermined number of lines is decomposed for each frequency band by a hierarchical analysis filter process and which includes coefficient data of one line or more in a sub-band of at least a lowest frequency component, a synthesis filter unit that synthesizes the coefficient data group and generates image data in a baseband, a supply control unit that controls the supply unit to supply the coefficient data at such a timing that the synthesis filter unit can generate the image data at a timing corresponding to a horizontal synchronization period, and a synthesis filtering control unit that controls the synthesis filter unit to synthesize the coefficient data group in the predetermined order and generate the image data at a timing corresponding to the horizontal synchronization period.

  • Publication number: 20110176742
Abstract: An image processing apparatus is disclosed which includes: an analysis filtering section configured to transform a line block into coefficient data decomposed into frequency bands by performing an analysis filtering process hierarchically, the line block including image data of as many lines as needed for generating the coefficient data of at least one line in a subband of the lowest-frequency component; an encoding section configured to encode the coefficient data generated by the analysis filtering section; and an alignment section configured to align, in increments of a predetermined data length, the encoded data obtained by encoding the coefficient data by the encoding section.

  • Publication number: 20090285310
Abstract: There is provided a receiving apparatus including a header detection section that receives image data encoded per a coding unit corresponding to N (N is equal to or greater than 1) lines in one field and detects control information to decide a decoding start point of the image data from a header attached to the image data, a storage section that stores the image data in each storage area assigned per the coding unit, a decoding start instruction section that decides a decoding start point of the image data based on the control information detected by the header detection section and, after waiting till the decoding start point, instructs a start of decoding per the coding unit, and a decoding section that decodes the image data stored in the storage section per the coding unit after the instruction to start decoding being received from the decoding start instruction section.
