    Abstract: The computational complexity when a block configuration in an encoding target region is determined is reduced while the degradation of coding efficiency is suppressed. A video encoding apparatus includes a block selecting unit which selects each of blocks obtained by recursively dividing an encoding target block as a target block in a predetermined sequence, a block size acquiring unit which acquires the smallest block size in an adjacent block for the selected target block, an evaluation value calculating unit which calculates an evaluation value of the target block if a block size of the target block matches any one of the acquired block size, the block size one level higher than the acquired block size, and the block size one level lower than the acquired block size, and a block configuration determining unit which determines a combination of the blocks constituting the region within the encoding target block based on the evaluation value.

    Abstract: In a method of an embodiment, a pressure sensor is selected from first and second pressure sensors according to a set flow rate. A measurable maximum pressure of the second pressure sensor is higher than a measurable maximum pressure of first pressure sensor. The target pressure of a chamber is determined according to the set flow rate. Until the pressure of the chamber reaches the target pressure after gas is started to be output from the flow rate controller to the chamber at an output flow rate according to the set flow rate and a pressure controller provided between the chamber and an exhaust apparatus is closed, the pressure of the chamber is measured by the selected pressure sensor. The output flow rate of the flow rate controller is determined from a rate of rise of the pressure of the chamber.

It thus becomes possible to achieve efficiency higher than that of a charging apparatus in the related art while preventing deterioration or damage of the electric storage device.

    Abstract: In QFN packages for vehicles which are required to have high reliability, the side surface of leads is mostly covered with lead-to-lead resin protrusions, which prevent smooth formation of solder fillets during reflow mounting. When the lead-to-lead protrusions are mechanically removed using a punching die, there is a high possibility of causing cracks of the main body of the package or terminal deformation. When a spacing is provided between the punching die and the main body of the package in order to avoid such damages, a resin residue is produced to hinder complete removal of this lead-to-lead resin protrusion. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing semiconductor device of a QFN type package using multiple leadframes having a dam bar for tying external end portions of a plurality of leads.
