  • Patent number: 7255603
Abstract: A connector used for a plurality (plural kinds) of memory cards is provided in which contacts can easily be assembled and contact leads can rapidly be inspected visually. A housing 4 is covered with a cover 3 so that a card holding part 42 is formed that has a card insertion port 41 shared by an SD card 1 and a Memory Stick card 2. The SD card 1 stops at a position near the card insertion port 41, while the Memory Stick card 2 stops at a position distant from the card insertion port 41. Cantilever contacts 5 have first contact points 51 for contacting with surface contact terminal 1A, while first lead parts 52 extend out from a stopper 43. Cantilever contacts 6 have second contact points 61 for contacting with surface contact terminal 2A, while second lead parts 62 extend out from the stopper 43. A plurality of the first lead parts 52 and a plurality of the second lead parts 62 extend out in parallel to each other from the stopper 43.

  • Patent number: 7203069
Abstract: A PC card can reduces possibility of the lid being detached from the extended portion even when twisting stress, bending stress, etc. is applied against the PC card, and simplifies the metal mold for resin molding. In the PC card, by placing a lid so as to face an extended portion in such a way that catches provided on the lid are evaded from the catches provided on the extended portion, and thereafter sliding the lid relatively against the extended portion in parallel with the insertion direction to the electronic apparatus, the catches on the lid and the catches on the extended portion become aligned in the height direction, and thereby the lid is fixed to the extended portion.

  • Patent number: 7097480
Abstract: A connector with a switch comprises a housing for defining a terminal accommodation chamber opened through a plug pin insertion hole. A fixed terminal and a switch terminal are held by the housing. The switch terminal comprises a U-shaped section opened toward the plug pin insertion hole in the terminal accommodation chamber. The U-shaped section is elastically deformable in a direction crossing the direction of plug pin insertion. The switch terminal is switched from a state in which it is brought into contact with the fixed terminal to a state in which the contact thereof with the fixed terminal is cut off as the U-shaped section is deformed in the direction crossing the direction of plug pin insertion.

  • Patent number: 7086908
Abstract: A jack with a hollow columnar contact has a housing, which holds the hollow columnar contact firmly and the front end of the hollow columnar contact does not deflect readily. The insulating housing 1 comprises a plug connection opening 61, which a mating plug 65 is inserted into, a first insertion chamber 9 having the plug connection opening 61, and a first opening 14 in communication with the contact insertion chamber 9. The hollow columnar contact 3 is inserted along an axial direction into the first insertion chamber from the first opening 14. A cylindrical main contact body 3a is held by the first opening 14. A press-fit pin 6, arranged with a small-diameter axial part 6a, a large-diameter axial part 6b, and a head part 6c having an outer diameter is press-fitted into the cylindrical main contact body 4a.

  • Patent number: 7001218
Abstract: A connector, which enables the molding of narrow press-fitting grooves for cantilever contacts and has cantilever contact press-fitting grooves of a structure such that the molding dies for the grooves will have adequate strength and durability, is provided. In molding a rectangular first press-fitting groove 421, in which a first fixed part 5B of a cantilever contact 5 is press-fitted, a plurality of upper-face opened recess parts 42U, which are continuous with the first press-fitting groove 421, are molded by an upper die 1. Lower-face opened recess parts 42D, which are continuous with the first press-fitting groove 421, are molded by a lower die 2. By the combination of the upper die 1 and the lower die 2, the upper-face opened recess parts 42U and the lower-face opened recess parts 42D are formed in an alternating manner. The first press-fitting groove 421 is formed in an intermittent manner by the upper-face opened recess parts 42U and the lower-face opened recess parts 42D.

  • Patent number: 4002700
Abstract: A liquid resinous composition is prepared by reacting a dibasic acid component containing .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated basic acid with a glycol component to form an unsaturated polyester having an acid value of at least 10 and a molecular weight of 1,000 to 10,000, mixing the polyester with a basic substance to neutralize unreacted carboxyl groups and then subjecting the resulting water solubilized unsaturated polyester to addition reaction with a monovinyl compound. The composition is suited for adhesive, coating, printing ink, and binder.
