  • Patent number: 6834666
Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus for outputting compressed air in a compressor to a plurality of pneumatic tools at a plurality of pressures. The apparatus includes: an air tank storing compressed air compressed by the compressor at a high pressure; a pressure adjusting portion connected to said air tank and adjusting a pressure value of the compressed air in a region from the high pressure to zero; a pressure outputting portion connected to a secondary side of said pressure adjusting portion and outputting the adjusted compressed air to at least one of a first pneumatic tool driven at a first pressure and a second pneumatic tool driven at a second pressure. The first pressure is larger than the second pressure, and the adjusted compressed air is not output to the second pneumatic tool at the first pressure.

  • Patent number: 5772096
Abstract: A box nailing machine includes a piston within a cylinder to drive a nail. A main selector valve introduces compressed air into the cylinder and discharges the compressed air from the cylinder. A start operation valve operates the main selector valve. A trigger device for the box nailing machine comprises: a trigger switch operated by a trigger lever; a contact switch operated by the contact arm; an electromagnetic valve serving as the start operation valve; a logical circuit for applying a drive current to the electromagnetic valve when both the trigger switch and the contact switch are turned on; and a controller which includes a timer with a predetermined time limit. The timer is started in accordance with a trigger signal of the trigger switch and prohibits the drive current from the electromagnetic valve when the timer counts the predetermined time period. The timer is reset upon release of the trigger.

  • Patent number: 5515887
Abstract: A wire reel (3) for winding a binding wire thereround includes, on the outside surface of at least one of two frame plates, a recessed portion (15) consisting of a peripheral wall portion (14) having its center at the axis of the reel and a bottom wall portion (12). An optical sensor detection mark (17) is provided in the recessed portion (15) such that the mark (17) is disposed eccentric from the axis of the reel. The peripheral wall portion (14) of the recessed portion (15) is formed as a rotary shaft portion which is rotatably supported by the reel support portion of a binding tool. Since the recessed portion (15) is completely covered by the reel support portion of the binding tool, the optical sensor detection mark (17) provided in the recessed portion (15) is completely free from the influences of the external environment.

  • Patent number: 5279336
Abstract: The controlling apparatus includes a wire supplying sensor 18 for detecting a number of rotations of a wire supplying motor 8, a wire twisting sensor 49 for detecting actuation of a loaded torque detecting mechanism c, and a return position detecting sensor 38 for detecting that a wire twisting mechanism b is located at a predetermined waiting position. In response to an output signal from the wire supplying sensor 18, the controlling apparatus stops rotation of a wire supplying motor 7a and rotationally drives a wire twisting motor 7b. In addition, in response to an output signal from the wire twisting sensor 49, the controlling apparatus shifts rotation of the wire twisting motor 7b in the normal direction to rotation of the same in the reverse direction. Additionally, in response to an output signal from the return position detecting sensor 38, the controlling apparatus stops rotation of the twist driving motor 7b.
