    Abstract: An image display apparatus includes a projector receiving an image signal and projecting image light and a screen including a projection plane of arbitrary shape. The projector and screen are connected with link mechanisms and link mechanisms. The relative position and posture between the projector and the screen are automatically or manually changeable. The relative position and posture between the projector and the screen are measured, and correction parameters for correcting distortion of image light projected from the projector onto the screen are calculated from the previously set viewing position of the viewer and the shape of the projection plane of the projector. Based on the calculated correction parameters, the image signal inputted into the projector is subjected to distortion correction processing. It is therefore possible to allow the viewer to see a clear image even if the position of the screen is changed.

    Abstract: Fluid heat-exposed food can be uniformly heated with high energy efficiency. A current-carrying/heating apparatus is applied to use fluid meat and drink, such as soup or the like, as the heat-exposed food and to heat it by resistance heat. A primary winding is winded about an iron core and is connected to an AC power supply. A heat pipe is further winded about the iron core. A communication hole, into which the meat and drink used as the heat-exposed food is supplied, is formed in the heat pipe. An electric closed loop circuit is constituted by the heat-exposed food supplied into the communication hole. When a current is carried to the primary winding, a magnetic flux is generated around the iron core by the current. A current, induced by an operation of electromagnetic induction of the magnetic flux, flows to the heat-exposed food, and the heat-exposed food generates heat by the induced current and is heated.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a heating system for producing food stuffs such as a paste food stuff having minced flesh of fish meat as a raw material. The heating system comprises: an electrode row or rows, in which a plurality of roller electrodes are disposed in parallel to one another; and a water permeable film or films trained across the roller electrodes making up the electrode row or rows. The food stuffs are conveyed by the movement of the water permeable film or films and electrical power is supplied to the roller electrodes in such way that electric current flows between pairs of the roller electrodes along current paths extending through the water permeable film or films and the food stuffs to make the food stuffs generate Joule heat. With this arrangement, the food stuffs are quickly heated. The food stuffs are also guided by the water permeable film or films.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to bead wires which has a Cu/Sn deposit having an Sn content of 9 to 13% by weight and a Cu content of 91 to 87% by weight, in an amount of 0.65 to 0.85 g per kilogram of the wire. The present invention is also directed to rubber-coated bead wires for tires comprising the plated bead wire as mentioned above, a rubber layer formed on the bead wire from a composition comprising 100 parts of a rubber polymer, 80 to 140 parts of a carbon, 4 to 10 parts of sulfur, 0.4 to 0.9 part of a vulcanization accelerator, 10 to 7 parts of zinc oxide, and 1 to 4 parts of stearic acid, and to tires prepared by using the above-mentioned bead wires. The bead wires of the present invention have excellent adhesion between the plated bead wire and the rubber layer, so that the tires obtained using such bead wires avoid wild wires.

    Abstract: A high speed tire for heavy duty vehicles includes a carcass in a radial structure, a belt layer, tapered bead apex rubbers, side packing rubbers of small thickness, and side wall rubbers. The carcass has a main body part extending from a tread part through side wall parts to a bead core in each of two bead parts, and folding-back parts each being folded back around the bear core at each edge of the main body. Each of the bead apex rubbers extends outward in the radial direction between the main body part and the folding-back part from the bead core. Each of the side packing rubbers is disposed along the outside surface in the tire axial direction of the carcass. Each of the side wall rubbers covers the packing rubber and extends from the bead part to the side wall part so as to form the outside surface of the tire. Furthermore, the 100% modulus MP of the side packing rubber is 53 to 95 kg/cm.sup.2, the 100% modulus MA of the bead apex rubber is 78 to 120 kg/cm.sup.
