  • Publication number: 20150326147
Abstract: An elastic member 43 comprises a crystalline resin. The elastic member is fixed to a piezoelectric element 42 that generates vibration in response to application of an AC voltage, is in contact with a movable body 45 in use, and flexurally vibrates in response to the vibration of the piezoelectric element 42 to drive the movable body 45. The elastic member 43 may have a tooth 43b on an opposite side with respect to a side fixed to the piezoelectric element 42. The crystalline resin may be a poly(aryl ketone) resin or a poly(phenylene sulfide) resin. The piezoelectric actuator has an excellent transmission of flexural vibration. In a case where a displacement expansion element of a displacement-expanding piezoelectric actuator is formed from a crystalline resin, the actuator greatly amplifies an expansion and contraction displacement of a piezoelectric element.

  • Publication number: 20070286471
Abstract: The present invention provides an auto distinction system and an auto distinction method with which suitability of a width, a thickness, and a stain of a continuously moving assembled fiber band can be accurately distinguished. An assembled fiber band such as a filter tow which continuously moves on the front side of a background plate is imaged by a line sensor. Based on the produced video signal, a characteristic information containing a defect information concerning a thickness, a width, and a stain of the assembled fiber band is detected, and the defect information is extracted from the characteristic information. Thus suitability of the assembled fiber band is distinguished. For example, the video signal is supplied to a noise-eliminating circuit 6a and a defect signal concerning the thickness of the assembled fiber band is extracted. Based on the extracted signal and a reference signal with respect to the information, suitability of the defect information is distinguished by a distinction circuit 7.

  • Patent number: 7304726
Abstract: An auto distinction system images an assembled fiber band which continuously moves on the front side of a background plate applies sync-separating to a video signal by a sync-separating circuit 5a, and clamps the video signal by a clamping circuit 5b. Based on the clamped image signal, the characteristic information containing the defect information of the assembled fiber band is detected, and the defect information is extracted from the detected characteristic information. The clamped image signal is supplied to a noise-eliminating circuit 6a and a defect signal concerning the thickness of the assembled fiber band is extracted. Based on the extracted signal and a reference signal with respect to the information, suitability of the defect information is discriminated by a distinction circuit 7. When the results of distinction are defective, the results are announced. The characteristic information can be used for process control by being supplied to an external computer.

  • Patent number: 7296489
Abstract: A starting apparatus includes a drive motor and a reduction gear having a planetary gear for starting an engine by the drive motor via the reduction gear. An internal gear of the reduction gear includes a locking projection projecting in an axial direction. A rotation restricting member is formed with a guide groove in which the locking projection is loosely received and guided in a circumferential direction. A shock absorbing member is held in the guide groove in a state of being elastically in close contact with the locking projection in the circumferential direction. Thus, shock load to the internal gear is alleviated from the start.

  • Patent number: 7187369
Abstract: A coordinate input device of touch-type capable of giving an electric signal to a transducer, even if said transducer is disposed on a back surface of a substrate. The device contains acoustic wave transducers (piezoelectric vibrators), each functioning for oscillating a bulk wave (a first wave) toward a top surface of a substrate; a planar wiring formed on a back surface of the substrate by, e.g., transfer printing with conductive paste, for supplying the piezoelectric vibrator with electric power; diffractive acoustic wave mode couplers, each functioning for converting said bulk wave into a surface acoustic wave (a second wave) and vice versa; and a detector to detect scatter in the surface acoustic wave on the top surface of the substrate. Employing the planar wiring allows the wiring to be disposed even on the back surface of the substrate and also it may resolve the problem of fragility associated with a cable wiring.

  • Patent number: 7048221
Abstract: A door member for a tape cartridge capable of automating the operation of mounting a spring member thereon. A door body is in the form of a flat plate. A spring-mounting portion is in the form of a flat plate and extends from the door body and has one end face in which opens an insertion hole formed therein for having a foremost end of a spring member inserted therein. One surface-side wall and another surface-side wall define the insertion hole from an opening-side region of the insertion hole toward the end face to an innermost region of the insertion hole. Cutouts are alternately formed in the one surface-side wall and the other surface-side wall, such that the cutouts communicate with the insertion hole. A protuberance is formed on an inner surface of the one surface-side wall facing the innermost region, for engagement with the foremost end of the spring member.

  • Patent number: 7010992
Abstract: A center case has a force-receiving wall and a fixed wall, and is rigidly fixed in a starter. A gear-forming section is coaxially arranged with the center case, and has a forcing wall and a movable wall on the side of the center case. A cushion member is elastically received between the force-receiving wall of the center case and the forcing wall of the gear-forming section. The fixed wall of the center case and the movable wall of the gear-forming section are arranged to have a gap, and oppose each other. When an excessive torque works on the gear-forming section via an internal gear, the cushion member absorbs an impact force to move the movable wall by a predetermined distance. In this case, the movable wall contacts the fixed wall so that a compression rate of the cushion member can be restricted.
