  • Publication number: 20120114779
Abstract: A nonwoven fabric manufacturing apparatus has a spinning portion that spins fiber and an air delivery portion that blows air toward fiber spun out of the spinning portion. A roller is provided below the spinning portion. Fiber spun out of the spinning portion is blown onto the circumferential surface of the roller by the air blown out of the air delivery portion, so that nonwoven fabric is formed on the roller. A pair of guide plates is located below the roller. Entrained air flow is generated when the air blown out of the air delivery portion flows along the circumferential surface of the roller. Each guide plate interrupts and separates the entrained air flow from the circumferential surface of the roller.

  • Patent number: 8105518
Abstract: A valve case, which is a metal component, and an outer shell portion of a cylinder head cover, which is a resin component, are joined together through a seal material. First, a recess formed in the valve case is filled with a seal material in a liquid form. A skin layer is then formed by curing the surface of the seal material. Subsequently, the outer shell portion is formed by supplying a synthetic resin material onto the valve case in such a manner as to cover the skin layer, which is provided on the surface of a non-cured portion of the seal material. At this stage, the skin layer is broken by supply pressure of the synthetic resin material and thus the synthetic resin material and the non-cured portion of the seal material are joined together as an integral body.

  • Publication number: 20110285065
Abstract: A melt spinning apparatus includes an apparatus body, a nozzle configured to extrude melted resin in the apparatus body, and a barrel having an air discharge passage arranged around this nozzle to discharge hot air. The discharge passage includes a sloped passage and a parallel passage that extends along the nozzle. At an intersection of imaginary lines extending along the centerlines of the sloped passage, an imaginary merging section is defined. An open end of the nozzle is positioned on the downstream side of the imaginary merging section of the hot air blown diagonally forward toward a periphery of the nozzle. To manufacture a sheet of a nonwoven fabric, the melted resin is discharged from the nozzle and then the hot air swirling diagonally forward is blown toward the periphery of the nozzle. This causes the melted resin to be formed into spiral fibers. Those fibers are blown onto the belt of a conveyor belt apparatus to manufacture a nonwoven fabric sheet.

  • Publication number: 20110285053
Abstract: A melt spinning apparatus includes an apparatus body and a nozzle for extruding melted resin, a primary hot air passage formed around the nozzle, and a secondary hot air passage formed in a zone outside of the primary hot air passage, which are formed in the apparatus body. The primary hot air passage discharges primary hot air onto fibers of the melted resin extruded from the nozzle. The secondary hot air passage discharges secondary hot air to maintain the temperature of the primary hot air. The discharge angle of the secondary hot air from the secondary hot air passage is set in a range of 0° to 50° with respect to the direction of the melted resin extruded from the nozzle. The secondary hot air forms an air curtain that blocks the atmospheric air.

  • Publication number: 20100163741
Abstract: In the radiation detector of this invention, the second common electrode is formed on the incidence surface of the seat so as to cover at least a portion of the seat and the second common electrode is connected to the first common electrode. Thus, the second common electrode is bent at the periphery of the semiconductor and the seat, and a bent portion thereof is formed sharp. The first common electrode formed along the incidence surface of the semiconductor is disposed under the sharp portion of the second electrode (i.e., opposite to the incidence surface). Consequently, the common electrode seen from a bottom (opposite to the incidence surface) has a uniform shape, which avoids occurrence of irregular concentration of the electric fields. As a result, dark current due to concentration of the electric fields may be suppressed.
