  • Patent number: 6252630
Abstract: The signal receiving device, during the fixed time period the fixed time before the telecast start time point of the recording reserved program, as well as causing the external recording device to output the video information of the program information image formed based on the program information data, causes said external recording device to conduct the recording operation. Then, in a state in which video information of the recording reserved program is sent out to the external recording device, it causes the external recording device to execute the recording operation during the period from the time point a few seconds before the telecast start time point to the telecast stop time point of the recording reserved program.

  • Patent number: 5263899
Abstract: A kelly-bar apparatus includes, for example, an inner kelly-bar, a second kelly-bar and an outer kelly-bar. These kelly-bars are relatively telescopically operable and torque is transmitted from outside to inside. When the second and outer kelly-bar are in a contracted position, they are supported by a spring on a spring support fixed to the inner kelly-bar. The bottom end of a torque transmitting projection of the inner kelly-bar is fitted into and welded to the spring support. The spring support is fixed onto an engagement member formed integrally with the inner kelly-bar. In addition, a stop member for preventing the second kelly-bar from coming away from the outer kelly-bar projects from the inner periphery of the outer kelly-bar at a location above the torque transmitting portion.

  • Patent number: 4984936
Abstract: A stopper apparatus for neutralizing rotary reaction force set up by the rotation of a casing in an all-casing driver, comprises a long transmission frame for transmitting the reaction force, including a base frame connected to a casing drive unit and a joint frame one end of which is connected to the base frame, and a support frame horizontal- and vertical-rotatably connected to the other end of the joint frame. At least one side of the support frame comes in contact with a supporting mass by which the reaction force is supported. The stopper apparatus also comprises a pedestal for placing a working wagon thereon, detachably connected to the transmission frame, an inclination device for raising the pedestal to an inclined position, and an inter-frame distance increasing device for increasing the wedge of the pedestal.

  • Patent number: 4326736
Abstract: A swivel joint to be located at the upper end of a drill string in reverse circulation drills to support loads occurring on the drill string, the swivel joint including a fixed outer housing, a center housing rotatably mounted in the outer housing through bearings, a hollow inner housing vertically slidably fitted in the center housing, and an upper lid fixedly mounted on the outer housing to close the inner and center housings, the inner housing having at the upper and lower ends thereof flanged projections extending toward the center housing to restrict the range of the vertical sliding movement of the inner housing and being, after imposition and release of a downward thrust, slid upward within a range defined by a spacing between the flanged projection at the lower end of the inner housing and the lower end of the center housing subject to an upward thrust acting thereon, thereby preventing transmission of the upward thrust to the outer housing.
