  • Patent number: 6970203
Abstract: The automatic cut-off system includes a video data processing circuit, a cut-off control circuit, a drive circuit, and a level control section. The video data processing circuit adds a cut-off reference pulse having a predetermined level to primary-color signals of red (R), green (G) and blue (B) at different timings within a single vertical blanking interval, and outputs latch timing signals respectively indicating the timings. The cut-off control circuit shifts a level of each primary-color signal having the cut-off reference pulse added thereto based on a corresponding cut-off control signal. The drive circuit drives each cathode of a CRT (cathode-ray tube) based on a corresponding one of the shifted primary-color signals, and outputs a voltage corresponding to each cathode current as a common feedback signal. The level control section latches the feedback signal in response to each latch timing signal, and outputs the cut-off control signal of one of the primary-color signals.

  • Publication number: 20040230913
Abstract: An information terminal device allows the user to easily recognize the status of user environments that are set up on the information terminal device. In the information terminal device, a user environment controller prompts the user to register an object such as application software when the user environments are set up. After the user environments are set up, the user environment controller monitors the status of the object. If it is judged that the status of the object has undergone a change, then the user environment controller displays the status change on a display unit.

  • Patent number: 6597404
Abstract: A phase controller of a horizontal drive pulse fed into a horizontal deflection circuit supplying a horizontal deflection pulse, and a control method of the same are disclosed. A frequency discriminator identifies a format of video-input-signal by detecting a frequency of the horizontal sync signal. A reference phase generator generates a reference phase signal based on the output from the frequency discriminator. A sawtooth waveform generator generates a sawtooth waveform signal responsive to the output from the frequency discriminator. A phase difference voltage detector outputs a phase difference voltage responsive to the phase difference between the reference phase signal and the horizontal deflection pulse. A phase control signal generator generates a phase control signal using the phase difference voltage and the sawtooth waveform signal. Horizontal drive pulse generator outputs a horizontal drive pulse having a phase responsive to the phase control signal.

  • Patent number: 6567129
Abstract: A color demodulation apparatus having color demodulation capabilities as the conventional ones, with its size reduced by sharing part of processing circuit therein is provided. An adder circuit 10 and a SW circuit 11 shift the phase of a ramp wave generated by a VCO circuit 9 alternately 90 degrees and 180 degrees for each clock. A SIN data generator circuit 12 generates a phase alternate SIN wave signal from the shifted ramp wave. A multiplier circuit 3 performs R-Y and B-Y demodulation through multiplexing based on the phase alternate SIN wave signal. An accumulator circuit 6 accumulates burst signals of each of R-Y and B-Y signals of the demodulated, multiplexed signal. A second load hold circuit 8 separately outputs an R-Y burst signal to the VCO circuit 9, and a B-Y burst signal to a comparator circuit 13, constituting two feedback loops. A first load hold circuit 5 separates R-Y and B-Y signals from the multiplexed signal, and outputs these two signals.

  • Patent number: 4967127
Abstract: A tracking control robot controls its arm end, which holds a tool, to track a taught path so that a reaction force between a workpiece and the tool remains constant. An ideal state for the arm end is determined from the present state of the arm end and the difference between the actual reaction force and a predetermined target force. Then, this ideal state is compared with a reference state of the arm end on the taught path to obtain a target position and a target attitude of the arm end. Since a target position is always determined independently of the last target position, no position error due to time delay affects a new target position even when the next target position is generated before the tool reaches the last target position. Thus, the robot is quick, responsive, and accurate when tracking at a constant operation speed.

  • Patent number: 4866914
Abstract: A pouch made of a heat-fusible material is sealed at its mouth while being transferred on a conveyor. A vibrator provided at one side of the track of the conveyor is pressed against the mouth of the pouch for vibrative heating in response to a signal from a sensor and is moved away from the mouth in response to a sensor signal. The sensor detects the coming and passing of the pouch at and through the sealing station. The pouch preferably has an open mouth with a presealed leading edge which ensures that the entire mouth is completely sealed. The provision of the presealed leading edge along with the vibrator for vibrative heat-sealing ensures that a good seal is produced even if powder or fat has adhered to the sealing surface.

  • Patent number: 4529921
Abstract: In a tracking control system of a multijoint robot, a change in posture of an end of a tool attached to a hand of a robot arm is defined as rotation about a rotational main axis of the tool. An arc traced by an imaginary point which is in a plane perpendicular to the rotational main axis and which is spaced apart by a predetermined distance from the rotational main axis is synthesized with a straight line traced by the imaginary point upon translational motion of the end of the tool, thereby producing a helical trajectory. A velocity pattern is given to this helical trajectory, and a translational velocity pattern and a rotational velocity pattern are derived as components from the velocity pattern given to the helical trajectory. Servo control is smoothly performed to control joint variables so as to provide a target position/posture tracking output which prevents abrupt changes.

  • Patent number: 4524313
Abstract: The invention relates to a mechanism wherein a relative rotary angle of a driving motor is detected by use of an encoder, and, if an error occurs in a servo control action when the driving motor is servo-controlled in accordance with a deviation value of the relative rotary angle from a desired rotary angle of the driving motor, then the servo control action is brought to an emergency stop. A potentiometer for detecting an absolute rotary angle of the driving motor is connected to a rotary shaft of the driving motor and said emergency stop is effected when a difference between said absolute rotary angle and said relative rotary angle exceeds a preset tolerance value, so that an error in the servo control action can be reliably prevented.

  • Patent number: 4513231
Abstract: The invention relates to a control circuit of a pulse width modulation inverter, wherein a current control circuit to output a current control signal corresponding to a current command signal is provided, main transistors of a main circuit of the pulse width modulation inverter are switchingly controlled in response to a current control signal, whereby a driving current supplied to a motor from the pulse width modulation inverter is controlled to a value corresponding to the current command signal. The current control circuit is of such an arrangement that the current control circuit corrects the current command signal in response to the speed detection signal to compensate an error in current control due to a counter electromotive force of a DC motor, while exercising a proportional control over the driving current in accordance with a current command deviation value of a driving current detection signal from the current command signal, so that the motor can be controlled at high speed and with high accuracy.
