  • Patent number: 8146529
Abstract: There is provided a liquid application apparatus capable of performing stable application without providing a new mechanism, by efficiently removing an application liquid increased in viscosity and fixedly adhered to an abutting portion between an application member and a liquid supplying member. A liquid application apparatus includes an application member that applies a liquid supplied to an applied face to a printing medium by rotating an application roller and a liquid holding member that abuts against the applied face to form a liquid holding space for holding the liquid, and the amount of liquid that is held in the liquid holding space and makes contact with the application member in unit time is larger before an applying operation for applying the liquid to the printing medium than in the applying operation.

  • Publication number: 20110128329
Abstract: A liquid ejection apparatus includes a pressure sensor and a determining unit. The pressure sensor is configured to detect a pressure in an ink supply path for use in supplying ink from an ink tank to a recording head. The determining unit determines whether the ink supply path is anomalous based on a result of detection of the pressure in the ink supply path by the pressure sensor performed in response to application of a fluctuating pressure to the ink in the ink tank.

  • Patent number: 7878579
Abstract: A front end assembly of a vehicle can include a frame member, a headlight assembly, a fender panel, and a stay. The fender panel includes a nose extending along and above the headlight assembly. The stay is secured to the frame member and includes an abutment surface spaced from an inner surface of the fender nose by a gap. The stay transfers an external force applied to the fender nose to the frame member when the nose is deflected into contact with the stay to limit deflection of the fender nose.

  • Patent number: 7786997
Abstract: In each odd-numbered frame, a game image generated by a three-dimensional image processing unit 31 is supplied to a first LCD 11, and then a game image identical to the generated game image is stored in a first VRAM 21a. Also, a two-dimensional image processing unit 37 supplies the game image stored in the immediately-preceding even-numbered frame in a second VRAM 21b to a second LCD 12. On the other hand, in each even-numbered frame, a game image generated by the three-dimensional image processing unit 31 is supplied to the first LCD 12, and then a game image identical to the generated game image is stored in the second VRAM 21b. Also, the two-dimensional image processing unit 37 supplies the game image stored in the immediately-preceding odd-numbered frame in the first VRAM 21a to the first LCD 11.
