  • Patent number: 7159703
Abstract: In a clutch device 1, a clutch cover assembly 8 is attached to a second flywheel assembly 5 to bias elastically a frictional connection portion 54 against a friction surface 21a of a flywheel 21. A release device 10 releases the bias toward the frictional connection portion 54 by applying a load to the clutch cover assembly 8 in an axial direction toward the engine. A support plate 39 elastically supports the second flywheel assembly 5 such that the second flywheel assembly 5 can move in a bending direction. A bending direction movement suppression mechanism 24 suppresses bending movement of the second flywheel 5 by connecting the second flywheel assembly 5 to a disk-like member 13 when the clutch cover assembly 8 receives a load toward the engine in the axial direction.

  • Patent number: 7077676
Abstract: A male tab terminal has an O-ring mounting portion formed between its wire connection portion and its electrical contact portion, and this O-ring mounting portion is surrounded by an opening peripheral surface of an O-ring receiving step portion of a female connector housing which defines an opening of a male terminal receiving chamber. An O-ring, mounted on the O-ring mounting portion of the male tab terminal, is held in intimate contact with an outer peripheral surface of the O-ring mounting portion over an entire periphery thereof, and also is held in intimate contact with the opening peripheral surface of the O-ring receiving step portion over an entire periphery thereof. When a female connector and a male connector are fitted together, the O-ring is directly clamped between the female connector housing and a male connector housing in a direction of fitting of the female and male connectors, and is pressed by the two connector housings.

  • Publication number: 20060096833
Abstract: A damper mechanism 6 is provided to transmit torque while absorbing and damping torsional vibrations. A small coil spring 45 achieves characteristics of a low rigidity in a small torsion angle region of the torsion characteristics when compressed by rotary members. A coil spring 33 achieves characteristics of a high rigidity in a large torsion angle region of the torsion characteristics when compressed by the rotary members rotating relatively to each other. A frictional resistance generating mechanism 7 generates a frictional resistance while each spring is being compressed. Owing to a rotating-direction space 79, the frictional resistance generating mechanism 7 does not operate in the second stage of the torsion characteristics and also does not in the first stage while a torsion angle is in a predetermined range.
